Longwei's POV
Immediately Chen left, I felt this sudden pull in my heart. I didn't want to believe that I was already missing her. I shook my head as if to get the feeling away from my head.
"She won't leave while we are away right?" My wolf asked.
" She might, " I replied.
I wasn't sure why I was feeling this way. I don't like the witch but hearing that she's planning to leave didn't do well with me.
"What is wrong with me?" I asked myself.
" Maybe we are just used to having her around, " my wolf said and I agreed with him because there's nothing that would make me feel this way towards a witch
I needed to focus on the battle I was going to. I still have a lot of paperwork to see to, so I dug my head into it. After a few minutes, I realised that I was just deceiving myself. I was doing nothing aside from staring at the paper.
"Let's go for a run," I told my wolf.
