Longwei
I stood outside the window, a gazillion thoughts running through my mind as I stared at the moon. The moon was casting its eerie glow on the fields. I was so happy that Min returned. I would have married her immediately but then no one would agree with me on that. I was sure I was going to find a way to force that witch out of my life.
Min Jun has always been my solace, when my father would treat me so badly. She would make sure I smile. Now the moon goddess just sent her back to me as a solace. I would never let that woman go.
Just then, my gaze landed on my mother who was at the corner of one of the fields, running her hands on the flowers.
Perhaps she was missing Father, I thought. Anytime I see her all alone, I feel this guilt rush into me. I was the reason my father died.
Although my mother had told me that it wasn't my fault over a million times, I still didn't believe it. If I had listened to him, things wouldn't have been the way they were.
