Chen's POV
I didn't believe that Longwei and I could stay in a place for a minute without fighting, talk more of us spending the night together playing. Although we didn't say much to each other, at least we were not arguing.
I was so happy at how we spent the night together even though I knew it wouldn't last long. Well I wasn't expecting anything much. Now that he would even have a concubine, I'm nowhere to be put in all these. I'm the one he hated most.
Jiang Wen seems to be a good girl. I pitied her that her father wants to use her as a gift to the Alpha King. She's too beautiful for that.
The poor girl had thought I was going to hate her, so she came to me to explain the whole thing.
"You don't need to be sad, the Alpha King doesn't like me. I'm like a pain to him," I had said to her.
It was an obvious truth. I didn't need to hide it from her since she's going to be his woman.
"I still feel sad, my Queen," she said softly.
