I walked toards his dead corpse and grabbed a sword from my inventory. As I got closer I stabbed around the area of his liver and ripped it out, it's glowing but it seems it would not grant aditional power like it does in my real dreams. I did take a bite of the liver, it tasted nice but I got no pop-up telling me a stat had been increased or telling me that I had developed a new skill. The blood gushed out of my mouth with every bite I took, dripping along my shirt until it fel onto the ground.
I tried catching a bit of the blood but it mainly fell onto the ground, only some licked up from my hand.
I streched my back and heared a crack. As my back cracked I felt a heavy load fall off of my shoulders. I then started walking into the vast forest at the speed of the avarage person who had not cultivates due to the backlash of the ascendant enhanced dexterity and speed which after using caused my speed to temporarily go down to 1. At some point in the forest there was a 20 meter large open area in which I decided to sit down on the green grass. I laid down and looked at the grand open blue sky. Up I looked and saw a... I hesitated I did not know how to describe this. I looked at it and saw a green area intertwining with a red area which on its own was also intertwined with a blue area which on itself was again combined with the green area in the sky. I felt a overwhelming sence of freight. I noticed I was no longer just looking at the third dimension all of us humans were used to looking at.
I saw it the fourth dimension, but as soon as it appeared it was gone. It was, for now something far beyond my reach. I could not reach it yet.
The sky began the crack exactly at the location where the areas had appeared. I felt happy but at the same time very sad. I looked over my shoulder and assumed the pose I had seen all those cultivator take and started cultivation. I knew I would not gain any cultivation experience and would never go up a realm. But it calmed my forever moving mind a bit. My thoughts were clearer than before and for the first time I felt empty within, I knew but one thing. I was truely a god foresaken being.
I stood up once again my mind flooding with a wave of murderous thought none I would try to supress. I walked further through this forest and noticed a cute bunny. It was just sitting there. I slowly walked toards it and then struck its head breaking hits skull and killing the bunny. Then I noticed that there was also a kid who was crying, most likely due to the death of his pet bunny. I started walking toards him with a happy smile on my forever smiling face. Soon his face was in striking distance I pulled out the sword I had used to gut the air being and skoved it into the little kid. The last sound he made was a sob crying for that which he had lost.
I reached toards the kid and put him over my should and then laid him beneath a large tree, his pet next to him with blood on his teeth. I noticed that they didnt even have a red spot which would indicate what I should eat I then cut off his head and put it besides his body. Then I heard the rustiling of leaves and hid in the bushes just so I could see then suffer as they saw the dead body of their son.
I sat in the bushes patiantly and waited until from the right of me out of the forest came a tall man around 3 meters high. I saw a tear flowing down his cheek and as he looked around I felt pressure fall upon me as he looked but in my general direction. I felt on edge and halted my breath. I reached for the ground trying to also halt my blood flow. I noticed that though he was strong though his percetion was not as good as my stealth skills.
I felt myself tense up everytime he looked in my general direction. I reached into my mind and heard the oldest Xu Wen say one word: ''Run!" but I dared not to stand up the pressure was too great for me to withstand. I cast my gaze upon his feet as he started getting closer a word came from him: "I know where you are come out as you killed my child." He did not sound too intelligent. I stood up and while still crouched I ran and ran my old speed rejuvenated. "Ascendant enhanced dexterity and speed." I bobbed and weaved around the trees and made some jumps making sure to not head to the sect. After a minute I noticed he was gone. I had out run him.
