Jun and Jayden squared off against Tetia as she stood next to the fallen Axel.
Jayden had his bow at the ready, glad to finally be able to utilize his energy again after fighting the annoying Moonfish.
Alright, how do we do this? Jayden thought. Axel is down, as expected, so Jun and I will have to team up against her. But with his speed and my split arrows we should be able to pin her down and-
"Jayden." Jun's whispered voice interrupted his thought.
"Yeah?" Jayden said as he turned his head and was shocked to see that his breathing was slightly labored.
"Those creatures may have taken more out of me than I thought." Jun stated.
Jayden wasn't that surprised to hear him say that - even after he had been knocked back down by Axel, he still hadn't been much help to Jun. The best he could do was provide him with some breathing room or a distraction, but Jun had done almost all the actual takedowns himself.
