Jun waited with anticipation as he watched the bubbles coming to the surface. He had no clue what was hiding in the water, but he had more than enough faith in Ryo's abilities. This wasn't enough to do someone like him in.
Then the bubbles stopped coming.
Xavier shook his head. "Yet another one falls prey. I told you this was a foolish game."
"No way. He couldn't have..." Jun started.
A single ripple coursed through the body of water followed by a gigantic splash that sent water raining down all over the room. As the downpour finished, Ryo could be seen standing on the platform across from Xavier.
He appeared unharmed but he was far from happy. "Oh, so you got jokes? Is that what this is?" He said.
Xavier looked over Ryo's body and didn't see any new wounds.
"How did you survive?"
