Before the slayers knew it, two days had come and gone; the whole time there hadn't been a single eventful thing to occur. They had fully expected War to show up that same day they defeated Tetia, but here they were two days later still waiting.
Even Admin was confused by this behavior.
She would go to different points in the surrounding areas and conduct a wide scan as far as she could reach for any type of divine energy signature. But nothing would come up.
"Conquest showed up after we wiped out his Archangels." She said, pacing around their current base of operations which happened to be where Tetia was once set up. "But we take out War's Seraphs and then everything goes quiet. I don't understand this."
Iris and Jun were present in the room as well.
"Maybe there's a protocol they have to follow that Conquest didn't?" Jun questioned.
