Tetia felt Iris's armored palm press against her back.
Seriously?! She thought.
Soul Drain was Iris's latest ability that she unlocked following Archangel Steve's demise. She had only used it once before after they left Melidon City prior to Tetia's full retreat order. Axel was the only one there who knew how devastating of a move it could truly be.
Tetia suddenly felt like someone had stuck an industrial vacuum to the center of her back and it was trying to rip the flesh right off of her. Before she could even register what was happening, the flow of the force from Iris's hand reversed - instead of sucking, it blew out a giant wave of pressure that rocked Tetia to the core.
"Ahhh!" Tetia yelled as she slumped forward and plummeted toward the ground.
I..I can't move! She desperately thought. What did she do to me??
With a resounding thud Tetia hit the ground hard. Iris landed not far from her but on her feet.
