So, this is a project given to me by my grandmother…alright, given is a poor choice of words. More so forced upon me with a lot of the word shit thrown in for good measure. It was a very long, interesting argument, to say the least. Not the point, sorry. So, what am I doing with this thing? Well, it's pretty simple; I'm writing down what I do everyday for the entertainment of my grandmother. Why would it entertain her? Well, if you care to hear it, she explained the reason as best she could, even if I don't agree with it in the slightest;

"Simply put, you're a good reader, so I imagine you know how to write. I need some entertainment. So, go ahead and write something for your dear old grammy to have a laugh over…you bitch."

Forgive my language. Anyways, now that I've explained what this is even for, it's probably best to go into what I did today.

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Hope you enjoyed grandma!

ADDENDUM- I apologize for my sarcastic tone in writing, my grandma is a wonderful person who would never hit me with a newspaper and would not make me write these words. Thank you for reading and I love you grandma.

Rimi decided she had an activity for us. Picking me up at the house, she explained that we're going to be giving the village a tour, to help me get acquainted with anything new or that I don't remember. So, with a bag of snacks and a camera, we set off.

First off, I discovered the flowers next to the area I'm living are called honeyberries, and are native to this area. What a bizarre thing they are. So succulent looking and sweet. We continue on. Rimi made sure to take me around to get a layout of the houses. They're all in a pretty large, spiraling layout, going out for a few yards.

The main attraction of my attention, however, was the actual shops. Surrounded by the homes, the shops house all the people's wants and needs. A grocer, a spirits shop, a game and convenience store, and most interestingly to me is the book store.

My desire to go in was interrupted by Rimi's desire to keep me in check, leading me instead to the two distinct features of the village; the belltower and the lake.

The belltower stands tall above all the other buildings in town. Up above, a bell hangs. Everytime the hour changes, the bell will ring to signal what hour it is…like a bell. I feel stupid explaining that. I guess I worry about my word count too much. Anyway, apparently, from what Rimi heard, someone tried to jump from the top at one point.

Quite honestly, that sounds horrifying. I'm thankful when we move from it to the Lake; Lake Malikawa. It's so peaceful, its waters completely free from any ripples or waves. Rimi explained that when the village was younger, people used to throw coins in to make wishes, but for the sake of not polluting the river, they switched to rocks. Rimi gave me a rock and we both made a wish.

What was my wish? That's a secret. You'll find out when it comes true grandma.

By the time we did that, it was lunch time. We got lunch at McDaniel's and we bid each other farewell from there.

Sounds like a fun day, doesn't it? Well, hopefully tomorrow will be way more fun. Hope you enjoyed grandma.

Mina beat my ass today. No, not literally…well, I did still end up with a bloody nose, but it wasn't necessarily because of her…okay, I guess I'll be more specific. So, school was normal for the most part. Mina didn't talk to me and Rimi did.

However, when we got to PE, there was something that happened that was different to anything that had ever occurred before between me and the great bitchasaurus that is Mina Ryuga. She willingly talked to me.

"Hey, Yuta, wanna race?"

Okay, so, yes, in hindsight, it's my own fault for accepting. Still, seeing her cocky face really made me annoyed. She's always looking down on me and bitching at me, so I went along with it, even if the odds of wiping that smirk away were near non-existent.

The class lined up, me and Mina right next to each other, and got into running stances. The only thought on my mind was beating this asshole who can't stop making fun of me.

The teacher yelled "go," and I was off like a bullet. It was a half mile run, and I'm not the best with my stamina. However, I knew that a strong head start would get me farther than any possible stamina retention strategies.

With a feeling of incoming glory, I ran as fast as I could. The track blew dust out from beneath my shoes, the sounds of racing sneakers moved further and further behind me, and I, personally, felt like I was nailing this.

And then I looked to my right…and there she was. Right at my side, not breaking a sweat. Shit, I had to finish that race quickly or she was gonna leave me in the dust. I bit my lip and pumped my legs harder. More more more speed! I just need more speed, and then she's done for!

I looked ahead and saw the starting line. My heart jumped, my stomach churned, I'd gone from sprinting to full on leaping and-

I fell on my face. I groaned in pain as my nose felt like it was filling with blood.

"Ha, I beat you, slow ass punk! Thought you had me there for a second didn't you? Ah, this feels amazing, honestly this calls for celebration! Right…Yuta?"

I looked up from the ground and into her eyes.

My only response was to vomit profusely on the track. It turns out my body isn't good with running fast.

I learned an important lesson today, grandma. Never trust Mina Ryuga.
