Today is the year 163 of the grandoise calendar
Tomorrow is the special day Ray had been waiting for. The Coming of age ceremony, a ceremony which is conducted when a child reaches the age of 5. This ceremony awakens one's element, giving them the ability to freely control it.
"Ray, wake up it's time" suddenly came a voice waking him up. He sat on the edge of his bed, yawning and rubbing his eyes. But it's normal to be tired since it was still early in the morning and he did not get enough sleep. The servants came in and made him stand up and dressed him up. He entered the hallway where his mother was waiting. They walked together to the entrance of the mansion where his father was waiting.
The way to the church was a rough one, as there were no roads that connected long distances that were well maintained. The carriage stopped in front of the church where a priest greeted us. He guided us to the main hall of the church where there was a priest who wore a dress that no one else was wearing. Ut made him seem like a person with a higher authority. "Greetings archbishop" came from his father and Ray immediately realised that that priest was of the highest rankings. Ray gently bowed down and greeted the archbishop. The archbishop, surprised to see a five year old noble child show such courtesy, acknowledged Ray's manners and said "Shall we begin"
