Folding his arms across his chest, Damian rested his back against the walls of the chamber, watching as Stella got intimate with her daughters. She had long since stopped crying, however, her eyes were still red from the outpour of her emotions.
Damian could empathize. Her family had been torn apart by the actions of someone she didn't even know, of someone she wished nothing more than to tear apart with her own hands. Worse yet, as the situation remained unchanged over the years, she had become hopeless.
But then, her daughter arrived like some sort of angel, turning around a situation she had deemed irreversible. How could she not be joyful? Extremely so at that.
Stella held both Claire's and Raven's hands, caressing them as she looked into both of their eyes. Studying them, Damian nodded, coming to a realization. With Stella's beautiful face and graceful figure, it suddenly became clear where Claire had gotten her beauty from.
