Damian sat on a throne meant for the Patriarch of the Kaminari Family. Said Patriarch was right beside him, forced into a kowtow by the Envoys. He looked even more beat than the Blue Corps had been. That lad hadn't been particularly lenient in dealing with him after all.
On either side of the Family Hall, several old, wizened Elders of the Kaminari Family lined, their expressions twisted with anger and humiliation at the current state of their Patriarch. However, when the person sitting on their throne was someone whose summons had toyed with both the Blue Corps and the Patriarch himself, what could they possibly do?
Granted, they were the Elders, existences firmly in the Fourth Sphere. But then, so were the soldiers of the Blue Corps. In fact, the Blue Corps could be said to be stronger than them, simply because they were the soldiers of the Kaminari Family, battle-hardened warriors whose experience on a battlefield was far above the Elders'.
