With his mind racing, Damian analyzed what had gone wrong. Battle Edict, on its own, was not special. But when paired with other Edicts, most specifically Weapon Edicts, it would make them several times more powerful.

As for Chaos Edict, it was an Abstract Edict, clearly one of the strongest Edict to have ever existed. It was too foreign, too powerful, too disruptive for the Battle Envoys who relied on the more stable Battle Edict. He needed to approach this calmly and differently, he needed to find a way to infuse Chaos Edict into the Envoys without overwhelming them.

But how?

It was then an idea struck him.

Immediately, reaching deep into his Soul and Lineage Physiology, Damian conjured a strand of Battle Edict with one hand, and a strand of Chaos Edict with the other. Both floated in his palms, the first radiating a bright copper color, the other a heavy dark gold.

This was Battle Edict and Chaos.
