The young soldier didn't seem to understand how he arrived before the mighty double doors that shielded the world from the Beast within. All he could remember was the order he received from his superior, then everything else was a blur, until he arrived here.
Now before him, in their grandeur, was the double doors that sealed Thunderstorm. It was made from common steel, a type of metal that would crumple before the might of a First Sphere evolver, let alone a Beast on the rank of Thunderstorm.
Which begs the question, how then were the steel doors able to hold their own against it?
A careful examination was all one needed to notice the innumerable thousands of Edict Runes that graced the surface of the steel doors, glowing a soft blue, and showcasing a beauty rarely seen.
These Edict Runes only had one purpose, and that was to continuously strengthen the steel doors to such extents that, even an all out attack from the Beast wouldn't bulge it.
