"What…what did you do to me?"
These were Valerie's first words the moment she found out she wasn't dead. Of course, her tone didn't contain any trace of negativity, if anything, her affection seems to have increased.
That said, she still needed to know what Damian had done to her. At that point before the beam hit her, she had almost pissed herself. Furthermore, it was at that moment she knew Damian could have killed her if he wanted, but hadn't done so.
As for the reason Damian hadn't chosen to kill her, maybe only he knew.
"You should know in a moment,"
Damian's voice had barely landed when a wild efflux of Edict erupted from the delicate body of Valerie. It's momentum was slightly less domineering than Damian's when he lifted his limiters. No, that was inaccurate.
The light-golden aura around Valerie seems to be no less bold than Damian's. And if one examined carefully, it would seem as though the laws of this Spheric Tower were stabilizing, as though the light-golden aura was doing the very opposite of Damian's dark-golden aura.

Valerie stared at the board floating before her in shock, her breath hitched in her throat. What this was, she knew not. However, she was sure Damian would know about this, after all, he was the one that did this to her, wasn't he?
"What…what is this?" She finally managed to voice out.
"You need not worry. This is a normal occurrence from where we came from. All you have–"
Damian paused for a moment, then gasped. Far too few things could make him lose control of his emotions, and unfortunately or fortunately, this particular one was among.
Before him floated the status board of… Valerie. On a normal day, this should have been impossible. Status boards were just a medium for every lifeform to view their deepest records. As such, it was entirely impossible for another person, even if said person was their closest confidant, to view one's status board if one didn't allow it.
It was for this reason Damian was shocked. How that was possible was beyond him.
That said, if the fact that he could see Valerie's status board was daunting enough, then when he began to glance through the information listed on the status board, his breath almost escaped his lungs.
'Or….or…Order Edict?! Boundless Creation Constitution?! But how is that possible?!'
Damian didn't know. However, it was at that very moment he understood.
At first, he had thought the reason he was attracted to Valerie was because they had several features in common. And in truth, he wasn't wrong. But what he hadn't expect was for these features to be so deep. So deep he couldn't even begin to fathom the depth.
He had the Boundless Ruination Constitution, Valerie had the Boundless Creation Constitution. He possessed Chaos Edict, Valerie possessed Order Edict.
This was a intrinsic deepness the likes of which he had never seen. It was almost as though both him and Valerie were made to be together, almost as though they were meant to be partners, almost as though they couldn't live without each other.
Damian took a deep breath before he looked at Valerie, and he was momentarily taken aback. Although he wasn't certain if this was because of his renewed impression of her, but she appeared to have become more beautiful.
If before, she seem like a Goddess descended from the Heavens, now though, she embodied every aspect of said Goddess.
Her reptilian eyes sparkled like the finest of gold, shining with a regal aura never before seen. Her hair cascaded like a waterfall from her scalp past her buttocks to end few millimeters above her knees. Clearly, her hair had grown longer.
Before, her skin was white and blemishless and seem to even border on pale, however now, the paleness had vanished, replaced a bronze sheen the likes of which could only be rivalled by Damian himself.
Her curves were an eye-opener, shifting tantalizingly under her dress ever so slightly. And judging by the way they strained against said dress, they seem to have grown larger.
In few terms, she had become more beautiful, and her presence had become more dominant, so dominant it could force even the most dominant of men to become whimpering submissives.
Damian heaved a sigh before he nodded. If before, he still had doubts about his willingness to bring her with him, now though, the doubts had vanished with the air. In fact, if anything, his conviction only seems to have been reinforced.
Damian momentarily ignored the reason he was able to see her status and focused his senses back on the world.
"What did you do?" a delicate voice sounded, and surprisingly, it wasn't from Valerie but Claire.
He turned to face her and examined at her. She was just as beautiful as he knew her to be. In fact, she looked even more beautiful. However, could she still compare to Valerie?
The answer was yes, she could. However, what couldn't and wouldn't be able to compare to was the regal aura that environed Valerie. It was stifling, and yet, added to her charm immensely.
Although she had offended him, he had forgiven her, and wouldn't even mind becoming friends with her. As for whether he would have such a relationship with her, he doubted that would ever happen again. But then, considering his lustful side, he was a bit skeptical about his restraint.
As such, he didn't mind answering her question.
"What you saw just now was Chaos Edict, one of the two most powerful forces in existence. I don't think I need to explain myself considering your background, do I?"
Indeed, Damian need not explain himself, as Claire already understood.
Although, her House was a Seventh Sphere Power, it could be said that they had the potential to reach the Eighth Sphere, a potential that was still hidden from their competitors.
As such, they were privy to information only those of the Eighth Sphere and higher could boast of possessing. Even then, it was just a modicum compared to what those monstrous Powers held in their hands.
Claire could remember the information as though it was yesterday. With her superior gene, her memory was so incredibly sharp she began to remember the texts she read word for word.
[ The whole Spheric Verse had known no destructive force more greater than Chaos Edict. It sweeps through, eats away at, and destroys every obstruction with an unprecedented ferocity… ]
Claire's heart began to thump, her blood pumping several times stronger than usual. The truth was, she had thought the surprise she would see today had ended, however, it appeared it was only just starting.
Damian, after seeing her reaction, nodded before continuing.
"With my Chaos Edict, I just did a simple test to see if I could break the rules imposed on every Spheric Towers regarding the matter of not being able to bring living things out of them, and… it seems I succeeded."
His tone sounded as though he was speaking of another unimpressive thing, and in truth, he felt that way. When Damian insisted that far too few things could impress him, he wasn't joking at all. And definitely not when said things are things in his own possession to begin with.
However, just because he didn't find his own feat impressive didn't mean they were unimpressive to others.
Claire's mind instantly surfed through her memories of the texts before settling on a part that had shook her violently.
[ …While Chaos Edict is known as the ultimate destroyer, on a more intrinsic level however, it exists to throw into disarray every rules, laws and principles in existence. It is known as… the ultimate Rule Breaker! ]
Claire felt her mind explode.
