[ Light Saber - Tier 5 Bronze Grade
An especially light weapon with a sharpness that ignores the defenses of nearly all lifeforms below the Second Sphere. When equipped, grants Agility +20 ]
This was the information that appeared before Damian when he crushed the orb. He looked downwards, on the weapon that currently lay in his hand.
Its blade was curved, and easily reached 4 feet in length. Its width, however, measured a little over 15 centimeters. Despite its' apparent size, it weighed far less than what one might expect, fairly less than the weight of even a tablespoon.
Damian swung the weapon through the air, and his eyes widened slightly. Just now, that casual wave of his arm had been so fast he almost couldn't control himself.
The discovery brought a sense of satisfaction to Damian. The saber had always been his favorite, and the fact that the first Artifact he stumbled upon was infact a saber meant his mother had probably interfered.
He had no idea how powerful his mother was, but he was absolutely certain she was among the strongest in existence. Hence, interfering with the rewards of a First Sphere World was child's play.
With a smile, Damian gripped the saber tightly before he began to move once again. Within moments, he was before the large wooden doors of the Dormitory. A kick from him knocked it off its hinges, sending it careening through the air before it landed in the distance.
Almost immediately, several Nulls began making their way towards him. Damian had witnessed the chaos from his room, but even then, he almost wasn't prepared for the scene up close. Were it not for the fact that his perspective of the world were different compared to those on Earth, he would have been traumatized.
He examined his surrounding, a grim expression creasing his face as he swung his blade towards the first Null to approach him. As though cutting through tofu, the blade swiftly lopped off the head of the Null.
He advanced, directly taking care of the remaining before his eyes landed on a direction. Without hesitation, he proceeded towards it.

Adah Winfrey had it thought all out. As one of the daughters of the General of the Northernshire Stronghold, she had been doomed to be a bargaining chip for her House, even before she was born.
However, Adah had thought otherwise. She wouldn't stay idle and allow herself be married unwillingly into another House in exchange for more power. As a result, she treaded into the world of Military.
With astounding fluidness, she garbed prominence upon prominence. Most had likened this to the inherited genes of her father, after all, her father had actually went from a mere Ensign to a General within three decades. A magnificent speed, considering that most even didn't see an increase in their ranks in their entire lifetime.
However, Adah didn't accept that. She had always stated the difference between her and her father. While her father had used schemes and plots to advance the ranks, she, however, had utilized her pure talent. Most couldn't deny this, after all, despite being 19 and still a student, Adah was already a Crested Major, a rank that would take most their entire lifetime to reach. And this was including the fact that the advancement in technology had made it possible to live past 150 years.
But, Adah was still 19! If she kept up this consistency, she wouldn't even be 30 until she became a Supreme General. A rank that was two steps above her father's. When she became one, she would make sure her father didn't look down on the female gender anymore. She would make sure her father didn't view the female gender as nothing more than a bargaining chip. She would definitely make sure of that.
But, why? Why did it appear as though all her achievements would be for naught? Why did it appear as though all her dreams wouldn't be brought to fruition?
The young lady looked back towards the Spheric Beast that was running after her. The beast only needed two light jumps to overtake her and pin her to the ground. And her life… would become history.
The only reason she had been able to keep up even though she was still a Stratum 1 existence was because of her intensive training in the Military.
Just as she had predicted, the mutated cock that was easily over 4 feet tall only took two light stomps and it was upon her. Adah skid to a stop. She need not run anymore. She didn't feel the need to, after all, death was upon her.
Her eyes snapped shut, expecting the death. Except… it never came.
SHING!
What came instead was a piercing sharpness that seems to singe through her mind. When she opened her eyes, what she beheld were two orbs of radiant gold. They shone like two miniature suns in the current night. They captivated her like the beauty of the stars. They plunged her into a momentary trance. As for the Spheric Beast, it was no more.
"Are you okay?" The voice came out rich and deep, and it snapped Adah out of her reverie.
For a moment, she knew not what to say. But upon seeing the frown on the young man's face, her brain instantly snapped into place.
"Ye…yes. I'm fine."
"Good. Now then, if you really value your life, I advise you to follow me."
Adah felt compelled. It didn't take a genius to know that the man before her had been the one that saved her life. And anyone who could do that meant they were strong.
Without hesitation, she stood up and began running after his already departing figure. A silent gasp escaped her lips as she watched him behead a Null without remorse. And immediately after, he went on to lacerate two more.
The young man in question was none other than Damian. Although, he felt no need to save her, his uncaring nonchalance was just a shield he wielded to veil his real self. By heart, he was kind and would have loved to go out of his way to save as many as possible. However, he knew that was impossible. The only thing he could do was save those he could, at least, until he arrived at the Tower.
Damian's saber was swift. It reaped the lives of several Spheric Beasts and Nulls alike, giving them no reprieve before they descended the stairs to the underworld. He didn't rest. His eyes fixated on the looming Tower in the distance.
He felt the need to lift his limiters so he could get there faster, but instantly suppressed the need. He moved left and right, swinging his saber with impunity before he skid to a halt, his eyes narrowing.
Blocking his way was a Spheric Beast.
