The outside world had descended into turmoil. The War Shrine was relentless, falling Shrine after Shrine with unmatched ferocity. This held true for Olympus as well. The Theoi Mantikoi were the first to fall, followed by the Theoi Iatrikoi, then Theoi Mousikoi.
As if that wasn't enough, natural disasters the likes of which hadn't occurred before ravaged through the mortal world with harrowing efficacy. Unbeknownst to the mortals, these weren't just normal natural disasters, but the result of several pantheons falling under the wrath of the Theoi Polemikoi - the Gods of War.
A Pantheon represented a natural law of this world. As such, when a Pantheon fell, the law collapses, and the result are phenomena ranging from hellish catastrophes to peculiar occurrences that sweep through different parts of the mortal world with impunity.
