Halfway through the movie, something troubling happened.
Bo Su suddenly sent her a message, showing a picture of two movie tickets. It was the movie that Yan Shu and Hai Chen were watching.
"Shushu, are you free tonight? Come with me to the movies."
Yan Shu took a picture of the movie screen and sent it to Bo Su.
Bo Su looked at the screenshot sent by Yan Shu and his handsome face darkened immediately.
"Shushu, who are you with?"
Yan Shu could not see Bo Su's dark face through the phone screen.
"Hai Chen." She wasn't good at lying.
Bo Su was infuriated. This was the only romance blockbuster that was aired for the first time in recent years, and the film promotional ads were targeted at all couples who were deeply in love.
But Yan Shu went to watch this movie with Hai Chen. How could he not be angry?
"Why is he with you?"
Yan Shu answered truthfully, "Sigh, he hasn't given up on me. My father is dying to marry off his daughter and he bought two movie tickets to create a chance for us to spend time alone."
Bo Su was extremely jealous.

"Mo Chi!"

"There's an employee in the Bai Corporation who has just entered the ranks. His name is Hai Chen. Give him a call and ask him to return to the office immediately."

When Hai Chen's phone rang, he was engrossed in watching the movie. It was Yan Shu who reminded him, "Mr. Hai Chen, your phone."
Hai Chen picked up his phone. When he took a glance at the phone screen, his expression turned serious. He said to Yan Shu apologetically, "Shushu, I'm going out to take an important call."

After Hai Chen went out, he did not return. He only sent a message to Yan Shu. "Shushu, the company has urgently summoned me back to handle an urgent matter. I'll take my leave for now. I'm very sorry. I'll make it up to you next time."

But not long after, a tall and lanky figure suddenly sat down in the empty seat beside her, and he handed a cup of pure green tea to her. Yan Shu was stunned.
When she saw who it was, Yan Shu called out softly in shock, "Bo Su…"

Bo Su was holding a bag of high-quality snacks. He took out some mung bean cakes and organic pastries, and handed them to Yan Shu.

When Yan Shu brought Bo Su into the house, Father Yan was dumbfounded when he saw him.
"Shushu, where's Hai Chen?"
Yan Shu said, "Something cropped up at work, so he was summoned back to the office to work overtime."
Father Yan looked at the sumptuous lunch on the table and was disappointed for a moment. Then, he placed one hand on Bo Su's shoulder and led him into the house.
"Susu, come here. I have to thank you. If you hadn't found a famous doctor like Professor Jason for Shushu's mother, how could she have recovered so quickly? You're the Yan family's benefactor."

Yan Shu looked at the scene of her dad and Bo Su being affectionate like father and son. It was quite dumbfounding.
