On the zenith of a high ,cold temperate mountain, the fair skin of a man was almost completely covered in snow as he sat in a lotus position. His focus however, was not the snow draping over his body, but the video on his retina, a video of a familiar figure hosting a press conference.
Suddenly, he grinned voraciously for a while as he kept following the press conference , then sighed self derisively. '' How could I have been so naïve , to think I had a chance of roping in this anomaly of a teenager with an SSS rank talent. Of course, that sly old man had an advantage I do not have. The young man attends the Oslon City academy, where he is the headmaster. Definitely, he had the advantage of close location and access to rope in the young man.''
He chuckled ''Even as the federation president, I have to say that I was not ready for such a shocking news. This young man is full of surprises. It looks like the future of humanity might not be so bleak after all. I will be awaiting his exploits....''
Straightening his knees, the blizzard assumed a halt around him with a click of his hand. The snowy wind remained suspended in mid air, as though he was a monarch over the snow. He had the unrivaled title of the Ice Monarch after all. Everyone in the United Federation knew this middle aged handsome man as Michael Coltheart, the Ice Monarch, and the president of the United Federation.
'' This vacation is over. It's time to head back''. This statement was followed by a sudden boom!! and afterimages of a figure crossing distances in a few seconds.

I stood in a familiar hall with glass tiled floor with dainty furniture and paintings with a familiar older man.
The sudden disappearance from the venue had left me surprised. I did not anticipate such a grand exit from the press conference.
As though he knew my thoughts, he sighed '' My apologies, I do not take a liking to the media very much you know. Their overly bothersome questions somehow manage to turn me into a hot tempered one, and I would not like to be hot tempered, well, for their sake''
''Oh no need to apologize sir. To be honest , I am not accustomed to fame, therefore, your grand exit saved me from a lot of trouble'' I replied calmly with my hands in the pockets of my windbreaker.
''Well, I suppose I should leave you to it then. Duty calls.'' With that, he disappeared in an eye's blink.
''Are all S rankers this enigmatic..'' I sighed, then walked out of the hall. It was time for me to test the efficiency of my pyromancer's slug skill.
Thanks to the headmaster for the credits he had sent me earlier, I now had about ten million credits in my account.

Lucas' POV.
I sighed as I made my way towards the academy's tower '' This is really a headache''. I was once famous for being a laughing stock in the past, and that was really emotionally derailing. I could vividly recall until just recently, all the ridiculing hands pointed at me, the eyes of disdain and mockery directed my way by many.
They were actually demeaning.
I always imagined how it would have felt like if people looked at me differently, with looks of acknowledgement, respect and adoration. However, at the present moment , when I saw the hands of excitement pointed at me, the exclamations of shock directed my way, the gasps of adoration encumbering me from different people, I did not feel happy or excited.
I felt .... disgusted.....
Why?... You ask?... These individuals were two faced...They made mockery of me, spat on me, abused me, and yet today, some were even asking me for an autograph. I sighed.
I could not really blame them. This was a world where the weak were disdained, and the strong were hailed and adored. ....
I was disgusted honestly, by the hypocrisy of human nature... However I reminded myself that not everyone was like that. There were still some good people in this power driven world full of maleficent people. Aunt Daffny for instance, did not look down on me for once, even when my worth was soaking under mud.
I remembered that unknown girl too, who got out of her fancy hover car a few months ago, and incapacitated a group of Friends rank bullies who ganged up on me in an alleyway and almost killed me.
