"The sage of Mount Myoboku? That's quite rare. To this world, you must be a unique deity-like existence."

Aizen looked at the toad sage standing on Jiraiya's shoulder, who had his hands clasped together. Aizen's lips curled into a slight smile as he spoke softly.

Hearing Aizen's words, Fukasaku glanced at him, his brow slightly furrowed, and said in a deep voice, "You're the one Jiraiya keeps talking about, Sōsuke, right? I didn't expect you to push Jiraiya to this extent."

In response, Aizen gently shook his head and smiled lightly. "Just call me Aizen. I imagine that from now on, the Mount Myoboku clan will come to understand this name more deeply. After all, as one of the few sage grounds in the ninja world, I find it quite interesting."

Fukasaku frowned tightly, clearly displeased by Aizen's blatant ambition and intentions. Just then, Aizen's brow furrowed slightly before relaxing. He spoke softly, "It seems today's battle won't continue."

Hearing this, both Jiraiya and Orochimaru looked at him with grave expressions. Fukasaku's eyes flickered, and he quietly whispered to Jiraiya, "Jiraiya, many ninjas are heading this way. Are they from Konoha?"

Jiraiya's brow furrowed tightly, his expression grim. "I doubt it. At this time, it can only be Iwa ninja who have been chasing us."

Fukasaku muttered, "Then it seems those heading this way are Iwa ninja. If they arrive, none of you might be able to escape."

Jiraiya frowned, his face painted with oil, looking quite troubled. At that moment, Orochimaru coldly said, "Let's go, Jiraiya. Take Tsunade, and let's leave quickly."

Jiraiya hesitated, then quickly responded, "How can we just leave? Sōsuke is still right there!"

Orochimaru's eyes narrowed slightly, glancing at Jiraiya. In a raspy voice, he said, "Do you feel any intent to fight from him? He hasn't shown a hint of killing intent. He probably came here for some other secret purpose."

Jiraiya suddenly realized that since Aizen arrived, it was they who had been provoking him, but he had shown no signs of wanting to attack. His eyes darkened as he stared at Aizen and asked, "Are you letting us leave, Sōsuke?"

Both Fukasaku and Orochimaru were taken aback by the directness of Jiraiya's question, their foreheads filling with black lines. Who straightforwardly asks the enemy something like that? If he keeps going like this, even if Aizen hadn't intended to fight, he might start wanting to.

Aizen, standing at a distance, smiled slightly, looking at Jiraiya with a complex gaze. He chuckled, "That really suits your personality, Jiraiya, to use such straightforward words. But you're right, this time, you get a reprieve."

Hearing Aizen's words, both Orochimaru and Fukasaku breathed a slight sigh of relief. However, Jiraiya continued to stare at Aizen, asking, "Why let us go, Sōsuke?"

Again, under the bewildered gazes of Orochimaru and Fukasaku, Aizen softly answered Jiraiya's question. "If I had to give a reason, it's simply because I don't want to right now."

As soon as Aizen said this, Jiraiya's eyes lit up. He looked at Aizen, thinking perhaps he was reconsidering and might return to the village. But Aizen merely smiled and continued, "It seems you misunderstood, Jiraiya. I'm not sparing you out of mercy or anything like that. It's because I'm looking forward to seeing how much stronger you all can become."

Aizen's words echoed in the ears of everyone present, each pondering his meaning. Aizen glanced at Jiraiya, his eyes briefly flicking to the two toad sages on his shoulders, and he chuckled, "The power you're gathering is quite intriguing, Jiraiya."

Hearing Aizen's words, both Jiraiya and the toad sages were shocked. Could Sōsuke actually sense the presence of natural energy?

"You can sense the presence of senjutsu chakra, Sōsuke?" Jiraiya asked gravely, staring at Aizen.

Aizen's eyes lowered slightly as he softly replied, "Oh, so this power is called senjutsu chakra by you? Senjutsu... it's merely a power held by sages. No wonder..."

Jiraiya looked confused at Aizen's words, but Aizen didn't explain further. He simply smiled and said, "This time, I'll let it slide. Next time... impress me, Jiraiya. I'm very curious to see how far you can go with the power of a sage."

Jiraiya's expression grew serious, but he said nothing more. At that moment, Aizen turned to Orochimaru, his lips curling into a slight smile as he said softly, "Orochimaru, you who pursue eternity, you should understand, right? How insignificant and petty the so-called order established by humans is compared to the power of the world."

"Yet, it is this ridiculous order that hinders humanity's quest for the source of power. So, I look forward to seeing every capable individual try to find this shortcut to the source of power. If you're willing to join us, you'd be very welcome."

Hearing Aizen's words, Orochimaru's eyes grew cold, unmoved by Aizen's invitation. Jiraiya, hearing this, became angry and shouted, "Sōsuke, isn't it enough that you left Konoha?"

He quickly turned to Orochimaru, speaking sternly, "Orochimaru, don't let Sōsuke's words sway you."

Before he could finish, Orochimaru coldly interrupted, "I understand that better than you. Don't worry unnecessarily. Since Sōsuke doesn't intend to fight, let's prepare to leave. If the Iwa ninja arrive, it will be hard to escape."

Jiraiya, momentarily silenced, nodded and then helped Tsunade, who was kneeling on the ground with a downcast expression, as they prepared to leave. Aizen stood quietly in the distance, watching them with an indescribable complexity in his gaze, his eyes lingering on the near-despondent figure.

As they were about to leave, Aizen smiled slightly and said, "Tell Tsunade that I'll give her a surprise soon, one she might find unimaginable. Of course, for Konoha, it might be nothing short of a disaster."

Hearing Aizen's words, Jiraiya and the others looked grim. They had no reason to doubt Aizen's words; if he said it, he likely had a plan, which meant Konoha might be facing another insurmountable crisis.

After Jiraiya and the others left, Aizen remained standing there, deep in thought. Saki, looking concerned, approached Aizen and respectfully said, "It's hard to imagine why your former close friends can't understand your intentions, Lord Aizen, and remain aligned with Konoha."

Hearing this, Aizen smiled slightly, not showing the sadness Saki had expected, but his already deep eyes became even more inscrutable.

Aizen softly laughed and said, "The paths of fate are different for everyone. It's the convergence of these lines that makes the journey ahead all the more magnificent, isn't it?"
