Aizen's words from the high throne made everyone below slightly surprised. They looked at Barragan with a deep sense of caution because, in Las Noches, there was only one master—Aizen.

At this moment, Aizen rested his cheek on his hand, looked at Barragan, narrowed his eyes slightly, and said softly, "However, Barragan is just a member of the Espada, temporarily under the command of Ulquiorra."

He then glanced at the people below and said softly, "It seems I haven't mentioned this yet. Las Noches will establish the most lethal Espada department, led by the Primera Espada, Ulquiorra Cifer, responsible for external combat."

Hearing Aizen's words, the crowd was shocked by the information, even ignoring Barragan's presence. The appearance of the Espada undoubtedly indicated Aizen's intention to make this power independent within Las Noches. As of now, known members include the mysterious Ulquiorra and the detestable Barragan.

However, what really worried everyone was that Aizen didn't seem to have plans to include them in this most lethal Espada unit.

Sure enough, Aizen's next words caused them to shudder slightly. He smiled slightly and said, "The existence of the Espada signifies ten forms of ultimate death. Each person will possess a unique power, not something you can easily achieve."

Hearing this, people like Sasori and Kakuzu had flickering eyes but said nothing. Nawaki, however, looked displeased. He glanced at Barragan and then bowed to Aizen, saying solemnly, "Lord Aizen, I want to fight this guy. I don't think we lack the strength to become members of the Espada."

Upon hearing this, Barragan chuckled and slowly turned to look at Nawaki, saying hoarsely, "Human brat, do you know how many humans my subordinates have killed? If you knew, you probably wouldn't even have the courage to stand before me, let alone make such a ridiculous request."

Nawaki's face turned ugly but remained steadfast as he looked at Aizen. Aizen, sitting on the high throne, smiled slightly and said warmly, "Nawaki, I am well aware of your strength. Even so, it will be difficult for you to defeat Barragan."

"Remember, in Las Noches, I will not treat you like a brother. Everything depends on your strength. Are you sure you want to choose to fight?"

Hearing Aizen's words, Nawaki could not hide his excitement. As a child who followed Aizen from Konoha to the outside world, he had always lacked care and affection. Aizen was probably the only person he could rely on, yet Aizen had always entrusted him to be taken care of by Saki.

Every time he made progress in mastering Wood Release, he wanted to show Aizen and receive his praise. But he always found himself disappointed, understanding that Aizen was too busy creating a new world order to pay attention to him. However, this never dispelled his inner disappointment.

Sometimes Nawaki couldn't help but ask himself, has Aizen forgotten about me?

Now he understood the answer! If Aizen hadn't been silently watching him, how would he know Nawaki's strength? If Aizen didn't see him as a brother, why would he say these words in front of so many people?

Thinking of this, Nawaki felt an urge to cry but held it back. He looked up at Aizen with determination and said, "I'm sure!"

Seeing Nawaki's response, Aizen's eyes were filled with a smile as he said softly, "Then I permit it. I hope you gain some growth from this battle, Nawaki."

With Aizen's permission, the group moved outside Las Noches. Under the crowd's watchful eyes, Barragan and Nawaki would engage in battle.

Outside Las Noches, the weather was clear and sunny. The warm sunlight shone through the clouds onto the cliff below, giving off a lazy feeling.

However, the atmosphere on the field was completely different from the warm weather, filled with a chilling aura. Aizen and the others from Las Noches stood around the field, while in the center, under the direct sunlight, stood Nawaki and Barragan.

Nawaki's face was tense, his eyes vigilant as he stared at Barragan, who had a relaxed expression and a disdainful smile. After all, Barragan had once been the ruler of Las Noches. Even if his strength had declined, he had once stood on the same level as Aizen. A single mistake could lead to failure.

"Huu..."

Nawaki exhaled slightly, relaxing his spirit. He glanced at Aizen in the distance. For some reason, seeing Aizen's smiling eyes reminded him of something Saki once said on a rainy day. They were sitting in the hallway, watching the fine rain outside.

"Nawaki, your talent is indeed as remarkable as Lord Aizen said. One day, you will become a great ninja," Saki said softly.

"Ugh, but I can't help Aizen-nii. He doesn't seem to need my help at all..." Nawaki said, a bit disappointed.

Hearing this, Saki hesitated and then said softly, "Nawaki, actually, Lord Aizen has always been quietly watching you. He once told me he had high expectations for two people. One was Nagato, and the other was you, Nawaki."

As these memories surfaced, Nawaki's gaze became resolute. He looked at Barragan in the distance, his lips tightening.

"That's right, Aizen-nii has always been watching me. As his brother, I can't let him down! Barragan, I will defeat you!"

Nawaki's eyes showed determination, but Barragan paid him no mind. To him, this battle was nothing more than a farce. However, since it was set up by Aizen, he would play along.

He squinted slightly, looking at the warm sunlight, feeling a bit irritated but also incredibly excited. Barragan was not concerned about the humans in Las Noches. He only cared about whether this world was vast enough. As he felt the world around him, he was ecstatic but tried to contain it.

"This is truly a brand new world... such abundant life force. If I could bring this world to extinction... I will become the strongest god of Hueco Mundo!"
