The wind in the air felt like blades, mixed with small stones that could cause significant injuries if they struck someone. This phenomenon, known as "Rock Rain," was unique to Iwa, the Hidden Stone Village. It was a result of the nearby towering mountains and harsh climate.
Inside Iwa, discussions were taking place. When Nanli and a group of young Iwa shinobi hurried back to the village, they caused quite a stir among the ninja, who were unsure of what had happened.
At Nanli's request, he was soon brought into the Tsuchikage's meeting room.
In the Tsuchikage's office, several advisors and Ōnoki himself were looking sharply at Nanli. Sitting nervously below, Nanli began to recount the events that had transpired at the border between the Land of Earth and the Land of Fire, leaving out no details.
After conveying everything to Ōnoki and the others, he finally felt a bit relieved, having completed his task.
"You mean to say that the Hyuga clan from Konoha has joined forces with the Cloud Village?" one of the Tsuchikage's advisors asked gravely.
Nanli hurriedly responded, "Yes, and with the Hyuga clan's Byakugan, our outposts near the border with the Sand Village have likely been exposed."
The advisor looked worriedly at Ōnoki and said, "Tsuchikage-sama, if the Cloud Village has allied with Konoha, this war..."
Before he could finish, Ōnoki interrupted with a wave of his hand. Ōnoki's expression was serious, but it wasn't Cloud that concerned him. "The Cloud's involvement in the war was anticipated. With the three major nations on the continent embroiled in this conflict, it was inevitable that the Raikage would seize this opportunity."
He continued, "However, I am surprised that the Raikage would choose to cooperate with Konoha. That doesn't quite fit his usual behavior."
After pondering for a moment, Ōnoki added, "This changes little. It simply means we will face our enemies sooner than expected. We never expected to win this war solely through an alliance with the Sand Village."
Hearing this, the advisor's eyes lit up as he said, "Do you mean to rely on that person?"
Though Nanli felt a bit nervous hearing this, he had a hunch about what was coming. Ōnoki did not hide the truth and said, "Yes, I am betting on Aizen"
Ōnoki's eyes gleamed as he continued, "That man controls a powerful organization. I believe that Hueco Mundo's involvement will bring an unexpected turn to this war for both Konoha and Cloud."
While the advisor's eyes brightened, he remembered Nanli's previous report and said worriedly, "But Tsuchikage-sama, Aizen has made a premature demand. Are you sure you want to give him that?"
Ōnoki frowned slightly and replied, "To be honest, that thing is important to Iwa, but it pales in comparison to this war. Initially, I planned to give it to Aizen after he fulfilled his promise, but given the current situation..."
Ōnoki's eyes sparkled as he considered the implications. "Cloud has allied with Konoha. With just an alliance with the Sand, Iwa can't gain a decisive advantage in this war. This is why Aizen made his demand now, knowing that I am determined to defeat Konoha."
"But I trust that man's promise!"
Hearing this, the advisor, who thought Ōnoki might refuse, was surprised. He tried to protest, but Ōnoki stopped him with a gesture and said, "Based on Nanli's report, those three individuals easily killed squads from the Hyuga clan and Cloud. Their strength is formidable. Moreover, one of them is a rogue ninja from the Hyuga clan, which is very intriguing."
"Hueco Mundo's strength has only shown the tip of the iceberg, but under Aizen's leadership, it will become a force capable of rivaling any shinobi village. It will play a significant role in this war."
"Therefore, I must have Hueco Mundo's assistance in this war. Even if we eventually face off against Aizen's Hueco Mundo, I must destroy Konoha first!"
Everyone present felt the resoluteness in Ōnoki's words and ceased their objections, agreeing with his plan.
Ōnoki looked around and said, "Arrange a meeting with Aizen. Hand over Han to him."
The advisors nodded gravely. Hence, Iwa would lose its second Jinchuriki, the host of the Five-Tails. Kneeling below, Nanli finally understood what Aizen wanted.
Three days later, in a desolate area within the Land of Earth, several Iwa ANBU restrained a person atop a large, red rock.
To their surprise, a pitch-black rift opened in the space before them.
A few figures emerged, led by a tall figure. The Iwa ANBU respectfully said, "Lord Aizen, here is the Five-Tails Jinchuriki, Han."
Aizen nodded slightly, his voice magnetic, "As expected of Ōnoki, he acts without hesitation. I will take the Five-Tails."
The Iwa shinobi nodded, and those behind him pushed the unconscious Han forward, then stepped back.
The Iwa shinobi respectfully said, "Lord Aizen, Tsuchikage-sama has a message for you. He hopes you will keep your promise and demonstrate your sincerity in the upcoming war."
Aizen smiled faintly and said, "Tell Ōnoki that because of his trust, I will honor our agreement."
The Iwa ANBU nodded respectfully and then disappeared.
A cold wind blew through the air, causing the unconscious Han to frown slightly but not wake up.
Aizen glanced at Han and said calmly, "Take him away. There's no need to kill him. All I need is a portion of his power."
Saki stepped forward, easily lifting Han onto his shoulder. Aizen glanced at Ulquiorra with a slight smile and said softly, "Ulquiorra, are you ready to greet an old friend?"
