-------------------------------------------------------------

As Sunagakure and Iwagakure declared war on Konoha under the pretext of the Third Kazekage's disappearance, the entire ninja world began to stir with anticipation.

In response to the war declaration from Sunagakure and Iwagakure, Konoha chose to respond forcefully without hesitation.

Konoha's firm stance made the surrounding nations watch the battle's outcome cautiously, not daring to easily choose sides between the two forces.

In the Land of Fire, within a forest outside Konoha Village:

"Clang!" "Clang!" "Clink!" "Clang!"

Sparks flew in all directions as two shadows clashed continuously, their kunai striking at each other's openings.

"Clang!"

The two figures collided once more, and the white-haired figure grinned, laughing softly.

"Minato, you've improved significantly to be able to spar with me so many times!"

Upon hearing this, the blond-haired Minato lowered his body, twisted his wrist, and seized the opportunity to throw his kunai forward!

"Whoosh!"

In response to the sudden attack, the white-haired figure easily leapt back, dodging the kunai by tilting his head.

However, the next moment his pupils widened in alarm, and he quickly formed hand seals!

"Poof!"

A puff of white smoke appeared where the white-haired figure stood, and immediately, Minato's figure emerged from the smoke, landing with a kunai in hand.

In the distance, the black shadow that had just appeared had a shocked expression, sweat on his forehead.

Looking closely, he stared at Minato, stammering.

"Minato, you've mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique!!?"

He hurriedly approached Minato, staring in amazement at the kunai in his hand.

Minato, with a gentle smile, responded modestly.

"Not yet, Jiraiya-sensei, I've only grasped some of the techniques preliminarily."

"If I had fully mastered it, you would have lost in that last attack, Jiraiya-sensei."

Jiraiya marveled, even though Minato claimed to have only preliminarily mastered the Flying Thunder God, it was already an incredible achievement.

Jiraiya muttered.

"This Flying Thunder God was just something the Third Hokage wrote based on the records in the Sealing Scroll. I didn't expect you to learn it from just those incomplete instructions."

Thinking about it, Jiraiya was further amazed.

Since Aizen had taken the Sealing Scroll from the village, Konoha lost many treasured jutsus from past Hokages.

Now, a twelve-year-old Minato had learned the Flying Thunder God from the incomplete records, which was unbelievable.

Jiraiya glanced at the kunai in Minato's hand.

The kunai looked ordinary, but it was engraved with some black seals, not easily noticeable on the iron surface.

Seeing Jiraiya's curiosity, Minato handed the kunai over, smiling.

"These seals seem connected to my own spatial coordinates."

He scratched the back of his head, speaking softly.

"I don't fully understand it yet, but following the steps you gave me on that scroll, I gradually learned to use it."

Hearing this, Jiraiya noted the youthful, shy smile on Minato's face and thought to himself.

Minato is truly a terrifying genius.

He probably doesn't realize what possessing such exceptional talent means yet.

A sudden thought flashed through Jiraiya's mind, and he looked at Minato with astonishment.

Could Minato be the Child of Prophecy mentioned by the Great Toad Sage!!?

Noticing Jiraiya's shocked expression, Minato asked softly.

"Is something wrong, Jiraiya-sensei?"

Jiraiya snapped out of his thoughts, grinning widely. He suddenly hugged Minato around the neck tightly.

"Who would've thought my disciple would have such amazing talent? Minato, you make me proud!"

Minato smiled wryly and spoke softly.

"Jiraiya-sensei, please let go, or I'll think this is your revenge for almost losing to me just now."

Jiraiya's body stiffened, his forehead showing a few black lines.

"Rustle."

He tightened his grip on Minato, as if in embarrassment.

"Hey! Minato, how can you say that to your teacher? I was just going easy on you… or maybe I just got careless for a moment..."

"Young people today are too arrogant. No, I need to give you a proper lesson."

Jiraiya shook his body, pretending to ask.

"Minato, what do you think?"

As Jiraiya spoke, Minato's face turned red, almost suffocating, waving his hands desperately for air.

Hearing Jiraiya's question, Minato nodded vigorously.

Satisfied, Jiraiya released him, smiling kindly.

Minato gasped for air, while Jiraiya patted his back like a caring elder, smiling warmly.

"Are you okay, Minato? If you have any questions, always come to me, okay?"

"By the way, how much of my strength do you think I used in our spar?"

Minato felt the question was tricky and shivered, raising five fingers.

"Hmm!?"

Seeing Jiraiya's expression, Minato retracted one finger.

"Cough! Cough!"

Jiraiya coughed, and Minato retracted another finger.

"Minato!"

Jiraiya's stern voice made Minato retract another finger.

"Do you think I'm a good teacher?"

Seeing Jiraiya's bright smile, Minato felt a chill, retracting another finger.

Satisfied, Jiraiya laughed.

"As expected of my disciple, you noticed I used only ten percent of my strength. Minato, your future is limitless!"

"Come, let's spar again. Let me see how well you can use the Flying Thunder God."

Minato's face turned pale at the thought.

Another spar… will it be fair?
