Hearing his words, a tall figure slowly emerged from a dark corner—it was Aizen, who had been missing for a long time.
A smile played at the corners of his mouth as he gently looked at the strange young man standing inside the vast building, and he softly said,
"The experiment is still in the trial phase at the moment. The power of the Hollows, even I cannot restore it to you right now. We must continue to wait for progress in the experiment."
With a slight smile still in his eyes, he glanced at Ulquiorra and continued softly,
"However, using this time to experience human emotions might be an interesting thing for you."
"After all, as a Hollow, you've always longed for human emotions, haven't you?"
Hearing Aizen's words, the young man kneeling before him showed a complex expression. His emerald eyes looked at his own palm and murmured,
"Human emotions, huh."
The youth had jet black, tousled hair and was dressed in a white uniform with black accents, highlighting his slender figure.
His face was very delicate, his pale complexion almost giving him the innocence of a child uninvolved with worldly affairs.
However, the expressionless face added a touch of stiffness to this innocence, and occasionally one could sense a melancholic aura unconsciously emanating from him.
Seeing his reaction, a small smile formed on Aizen's lips.
At that moment, Ulquiorra, who was almost indistinguishable from other children due to his expressionless face, looked up. His emerald eyes turned towards Aizen as he respectfully said,
"Lord Aizen, why have you summoned this fragmented body that has vanished into oblivion?"
"With the capabilities of this current body, I fear I may not be able to clear the obstacles ahead on your path, although I never managed to do so before."
The young man's face remained expressionless, but his eyes carried a hint of sadness.
It seemed he remembered past battles where he fought to extinction but still could not stop that man for Lord Aizen.
Hearing his words, Aizen's smile remained unchanged, but he gently looked up, his eyes gazing towards the pale building beyond the dark clouds.
"Listen to the rain,"
The sound of raindrops gently echoed on the dome of the vast building, adding a bit of life to the desolate and empty structure.
Aizen's gaze lingered in the clouds for a while before he softly spoke again.
"Ulquiorra, look at the sky above."
Hearing Aizen's words, the young Ulquiorra also gently raised his head, his emerald eyes following Aizen's gaze towards the gloomy dark clouds.
At that moment, Aizen's magnetic voice slowly came through,
"Do you see this scene, how it differs from the canopy of Las Noches you knew?"
Hearing Aizen's question, Ulquiorra was slightly taken aback, then quietly responded,
"You mean, the sky is... real."
Hearing his response, Aizen's lips curled slightly, his eyes still smiling as he continued to look at the dark clouds, and softly said,
"Yes, unlike the dome I created, this sky, although unpredictable, is real."
Turning his gaze back to Ulquiorra, Aizen continued,
"You may have already been told, but we are now in another world."
Looking at Ulquiorra, Aizen softly added,
"What you, who died, did not know is that everything I did in the Soul Society failed. Ironically, those incompetents could only seal me in endless darkness."
As he said this, his eyes became distant, and his aura turned sharper.
Hearing Aizen's words, Ulquiorra's face, usually expressionless, showed a hint of shock for the first time.
Lord Aizen had failed!
Ignoring the shock on Ulquiorra's face, Aizen's eyes narrowed slightly, and with a slight smirk, he chuckled,
"Unexpectedly, I ended up in this world, or rather, I got to start over in this world."
"It's something no one could have imagined, including those incompetents."
As he surveyed his surroundings, Aizen's gaze finally rested on Ulquiorra and he continued softly,
"This new world possesses powers no less than those of the Soul Society; even as a human, you can wield powers far beyond those of humans."
"Ulquiorra, in your human form, can you fight for me as you did before?"
Hearing Aizen's words, Ulquiorra knelt halfway, respectfully bowing his head, his hand placed over his heart as he softly said,
"Lord Aizen, I understand."
Raising his head slightly, his melancholic expression mixed with complex emotions as he respectfully looked at Aizen and spoke,
"Being unable to protect you, I failed indeed."
"But even so, to still be favored by Lord Aizen, to
feel this heartbeat within this human body, is a privilege."
"Trusted and summoned to this world, I have but one purpose."
"Even in this human form, I shall fulfill the mission I could not complete before. Before you, I will clear all obstacles."
Hearing Ulquiorra's words, Aizen's eyes twinkled with amusement as he softly replied,
"Ulquiorra, it seems you have indeed felt human emotions. You are much more talkative than before."
To this, Ulquiorra was slightly stunned, his hand gently touching his chest as he lowered his head, his green eyes examining his own heart, and quietly said,
"Perhaps."
"Hearing Lord Aizen's words, this beating 'heart' seems to be imbued with a strange power."
"Strangely, this power is stirring within me, giving me a peculiar desire to eliminate all those responsible for your downfall."
"Is this... anger, Lord Aizen?"
Listening to Ulquiorra, Aizen's lips twitched slightly, his eyes sparkling, but he did not answer the question.
Instead, he slowly turned around, his voice gentle as he said,
"Don't worry, one day, we will step on that land again."
"Before that, let us deal with some interesting beings in this world."
As he spoke, Aizen walked slowly into the depths of the empty building, his magnetic voice fading into the distance,
"Master your new human body well; it's specially prepared for you. Although you cannot use some of your Hollow powers, with the chakra of this world, you should still manage some basic techniques."
"Don't disappoint me, Ulquiorra. As the first Espada I've summoned to this world, I have high expectations for you."
As his final whisper fell, Aizen's figure disappeared from the spot.
Leaving only the young man in the vast building, his pale face showing a brief perplexed expression.
With his head bowed, hand gently resting on his chest, he murmured softly,
"Is this what it feels like to be trusted by Lord Aizen?"
After closing his eyes and feeling for a while, he slowly opened his green eyes, looking up at the bleak clouds above and whispered,
"This feeling... is really nice."
