"Crack, crack..."
The crack in the sky gradually widened, like a dense spider web.
"Clang!"
With a crisp sound, the sky shattered like glass...
From the pitch-black void in the sky, countless terrifying giant eyes peered incessantly at this location.
A sharp, ink-black hand, adorned with ghastly pale bones, pressed against the fractured spatial barrier.
Gradually, more and more pallid, eerie hands slowly reached in, their bodies gradually appearing in this space.
Sōsuke, looking up at this scene, tensed, his gaze becoming solemn, and he asked, "What are these things!?"
Hearing his deep question, Aizen, immobilized on the dark chair, merely chuckled softly, "I cannot provide an answer to that question because… it's something I'm also puzzled about."
Sōsuke frowned slightly, perplexed, looking at Aizen.
However, Aizen's face still carried a light smile as he continued, "In my world, the souls of deceased humans that do not find peace transform into Hollows that gradually lose their emotions."
"Interestingly enough… the world of Hollows seems to have existed since ancient times… far older than even the Soul Society where the Shinigami reside…"
With this, the corner of his mouth slightly lifted, a glint flashing in his eyes, he continued, "And these fellows… are not from their usual realm of Hueco Mundo…"
"Instead, they reside in Hell… as if being driven by some entity, eternally hunting the power that falls into Hell."
Hearing this, Sōsuke's gaze deepened.
Though he hadn't thoroughly understood, he had learned some information about his original world through Kyōka Suigetsu. Now, hearing Aizen's analysis, he couldn't help but feel astonished.
It seemed behind all this, there was a formidable being manipulating everything.
"So… what are these fellows doing here… could it be…"
Sōsuke looked at Aizen, then at the gigantic black monsters in the sky, surprised by the thought.
Responding, Aizen's lips curled into a slight smile, his eyes twinkling, and he chuckled, "Exactly… as you've guessed, the arrival of these fellows merely serves as a key in my plan to escape these detestable bonds…"
"The chair specially made by the people of Soul Society to bind all powers has sealed me for who knows how long…"
"In that pitch-black space, they attempted to erode my will through endless time… haha…"
"How dare those inferior beings try to challenge the intellect of a higher entity."
Hearing his words, Sōsuke looked at him impassively, speaking indifferently, "Yet, at this moment, you indeed have become a prisoner of those inferior beings you speak of."
Aizen made no attempt to argue, instead looking up at Sōsuke softly, "If it weren't for you… probably so…"
Just then!
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"…
Terrifyingly large, pitch-black figures landed on the ground!
Their sizes were almost mountainous!
Compared to them, Sōsuke and Aizen were like insignificant ants!
Yet, Aizen, so diminutive and bound to the chair, made the countless descending black monsters stare at him as if he were a delicious cake.
Looking at the group of immensely large monsters, Sōsuke's gaze turned grave as he said, "So… these are Gillians, aren't they?"
Hearing his words, Aizen smiled faintly, "If you're referring to the rank of these fellows, indeed, they are Gillians."
As he spoke, a sharp light flashed in his eyes, continuing, "But what's strange is that, even though they are not in Hueco Mundo, these beings from Hell have managed to grow to such an extent… or rather, to exist absolutely beyond the level of Gillians."
Just as Aizen was about to say something more, a terrifyingly large monster suddenly charged towards him, who was unable to move. Sōsuke's eyes turned cold, ready to make a move.
At that moment, Aizen's calm chuckle reached his ears, "No need to intervene. Although their strength far surpasses that of Gillians, these fellows merely act on instinct. They are perfectly suited to serve as keys."
"Trust that you can feel the subtle connection between us. I never expected… that Hōgyoku would actually be able to accomplish this…"
As his voice fell, the monster wearing a red bone mask had already approached him, its massive jaws gaping wide! It bit down towards Aizen, who sat on the dark chair. Sōsuke frowned at the scene.
Facing this situation, Sōsuke showed no worry, his face calm! Instead, he took an interested look at the mask on the monster's face, different from that of Gillians. Suddenly! The previously immense monster seemed to deflate like a balloon, its gigantic body visibly withering at a visible rate!
"Shoop…" In a moment, the monster that had approached Aizen's dark chair withered completely, then slowly turned to dust and scattered in the air. To this scene, Aizen slightly smiled, seemingly having anticipated this.
And Sōsuke watched him intently. Was this guy using these monsters as a power to deceive the seal that bound him!? But… when did he start planning this…? If he had been harboring this plan from the beginning… that's truly terrifying…
On the field, countless monsters didn't stop their assault due to the death of their kin, continuously charging at Aizen! From the shattered black void in the sky, countless monsters continued to gather here.
When countless monsters had died, a "click" sound came from Aizen's location! Sōsuke, looking closely, saw that Aizen, who had been entirely bound to the black chair, had somehow freed his right hand!
He lightly raised his extremely pale right hand, with numerous torn black substances still scattering in the air. His eyes slowly opened, full of uncontrollable mirth. "Is this… the taste of freedom…?"
As his soft voice fell, a dazzling giant white light burst forth from within him! Instantly shattering the black bonds on him! The black chair, under the endless white light, completely burned to ashes, leaving nothing behind!
"Pat, pat, pat…" Aizen, dressed in white, with a slight smile on his lips, gently stepped on the ground. And Aizen, frowning, watched all this unfold, his gaze complex and silent.
At this moment! The remaining countless giant monsters, as if enraged, swarmed up together, their ferocious bone masks gaping wide! From their mouths, countless terrifying red lights flickered, seemingly ready to completely obliterate Aizen and Aizen in one fell swoop!
Sōsuke, glancing at this horrifying scene, remained indifferent, his lips curving slightly. "Hum…" Without any visible action from him, the space suddenly started to tremble violently! All the monsters on the field suddenly froze, motionless!
"Crack, crack…" With a crisp sound echoing, all the monsters' bone masks on their faces shattered! Gradually, their bodies turned to dust and dispersed.
Sōsuke, witnessing this, was inwardly shaken. Is this the power of his spiritual pressure…?
Yet Aizen, as if he had just done something trivial, explained to Sōsuke with a light laugh, "No matter how strong the power, with such an obvious weakness, they are merely larger ant. Having served their purpose as keys, disappearing here is their destiny."
"Let's go, me from another world, let us first take a look… at that palace…" With that, he took steps towards the enormous palace that loomed in the clouds.
Sōsuke thought carefully about his words, then followed him.
