Hearing his words, Sosuke just smiled faintly and softly said, "Then, let the Anbu members stand down."

Both Shingo and Daita, unable to move in front of Sosuke, looked very troubled.

"Captain Shingo! You must not agree to his demands. Even if it costs me my life, I won't let a rogue ninja of the Leaf threaten us!" Daita shouted firmly, then attempted to turn and counterattack Sosuke.

Sosuke, remaining calm and indifferent, simply gathered a cluster of blue electricity in his hand resting on Daita's back.

"Zap!"

"Ah!"

Under the intense electric surge, Daita's body was instantly paralyzed, and after a scream, he collapsed powerlessly to the ground.

He showed no visible injuries but was immobilized by the strong electric current, lying on the ground as weakly as a fish out of water.

With a lowered gaze, Sosuke looked down at him and softly said, "I spared your life so that in the future, you can witness the glory of the kingdom I will build."

"Daita, cherish the time you have left, and watch closely with your ignorant and stubborn eyes."

Then, turning his gaze to the sweat-covered Shingo and the rest of the Leaf ninjas, due to his earlier actions, Sosuke chuckled, "Well, Captain Shingo, will you choose to clear the way?"

"If you continue to test my patience, I cannot guarantee I will remain as merciful as I am now."

Hearing his words, Captain Shingo, with a heavy expression and a flash of conflict in his eyes, eventually ordered sternly, "Stand down!"

The Leaf's Anbu, taken aback, then stepped aside, clearing a path for Sosuke and the Rock ninjas.

Seeing this, the Rock ninjas behind Sosuke were slightly surprised, showing excitement they couldn't suppress.

Sosuke, with a slight smile, began to walk forward.

Daita, lying on the ground, felt immense anger but was powerless to stop Sosuke and the Rock ninjas from leaving, his heart filled with resentment.

As Sosuke passed by Shingo, who wore a complex expression, he did not look at him but instead focused ahead and softly said, "My time with Captain Shingo was also very pleasant, unfortunately, my path does not lie within the Leaf... So, this is goodbye..."

Without any hesitation or reluctance, Sosuke continued forward.

Shingo turned his head, watching Sosuke's receding figure with mixed feelings.

Half a moment later, in a dense and quiet forest outside the Leaf Village, under the evening sun, rustling sounds approached, and a group emerged.

Leading them was Sosuke, dressed in a white feather garb, followed by weary Rock ninjas with sorrowful eyes.

Their plan to attack the Leaf had utterly failed, with significant losses to the Rock Village, including many elite ninjas and the uncertain fate of the Tsuchikage.

Given these circumstances, it was natural for the Rock ninjas, who had barely escaped from the Leaf Village, to feel sorrowful.

At that moment, Sosuke slowed his pace and softly suggested, "Let's rest here for a while."

Hearing his words, Tsuchi from the Rock ninjas hesitated slightly. After observing the disheartened expressions of his companions, he nodded in agreement.

With Tsuchi's signal, the Rock ninjas began to sit and rest, exhausted from the journey.

Sosuke glanced around indifferently and "whooshed" up to stand on a tall tree trunk, gazing in the direction of the Leaf Village.

Seeing this, Tsuchi hesitated before following him up the tree trunk beneath Sosuke.

Looking up at Sosuke, Tsuchi hesitated for a moment before speaking in a deep voice.

"'Child of Konoha,' our ANBU Squad was eliminated by you, wasn't it?"

Sosuke, already aware of Tsuchi's approach, remained indifferent and continued to gaze into the distance. Upon hearing the question, he glanced at Tsuchi and softly said, "Are you seeking revenge for the Rock ninjas?"

Sosuke's voice carried a slight chill and indifference, instilling a sense of fear in Tsuchi.

He had no doubt that if Sosuke wished to kill him, it wouldn't take more than a second, given Sosuke's strength was on par with his father's.

Thus, Tsuchi quickly shook his head and said, "No, I'm just curious."

Continuing, he focused intently and said with a rising voice, "Since you've chosen to become a rogue ninja from the Leaf, why then choose to help the Leaf?"

"If it were you, you should have sensed the secret technique 'Earth Elephant Divine Punishment'' that ANBU Squad was preparing to unleash."

"Had that technique been fully activated, the Leaf Village would have vanished from the continent in an instant. Wouldn't this align with your goals?"

His voice grew more impassioned, reflecting a deep sense of regret for their thwarted plans.

Observing Sosuke, Tsuchi's gaze harbored a deep-seated anger.

If not for Sosuke's interference, the Rock ninjas' mission would have undoubtedly been successful.

Unfortunately, this could only remain a hypothetical scenario, as their plans were ruined by the rogue ninja before him, never to be revisited.

Hearing Tsuchi's words, Sosuke's lips curled into a slight smile, glancing at him as he softly said, "My goals?"

"How did you conclude that destroying the Leaf aligns with my goals?"

Caught off guard, Tsuchi responded, "Having abandoned the position of the Fourth Hokage, isn't it because you harbor hatred towards the Leaf Village?"

Sosuke's eyes narrowed slightly, and his smile deepened as he chuckled, "Hatred?"

"For me, there's nothing worthy of my hatred."

"Everything unfolds according to the script I've set, so mundane and dull. If there are one or two fresh elements, it's quite amusing to me."

"The thing you claim I should hate, if it truly exists, I would make the entire world pay for its foolishness..."

Sosuke spoke as if narrating an inevitable truth, his voice calm but his presence intimidating Tsuchi.

Especially his final statement about making the world pay, the unwarranted confidence in his words sent a chill down Tsuchi's spine.

Such grandeur... was awe-inspiring.

Is he serious?

What gave him such immense confidence to make such a statement...

Tsuchi thought to himself, feeling both disheartened and discouraged.

They were not on the same level.
