At the edge of the Land of Fire,

Located at the intersection of the Land of Wind, Land of Earth, and Land of Fire, there is a low-lying region where a country exists. The people of this country live in constant gloom and rain due to its rainy climate, and it is aptly called the Land of Rain.

Unlike the prosperous and pleasant climate of the Land of Fire, the Land of Rain's terrible weather makes it almost impossible for its citizens to lead stable lives. Moreover,

compared to the Land of Wind, with its flying sand and rocks, and the desolate Land of Earth, the Land of Rain lags far behind.

At the heart of the Land of Rain lies a village built under a perpetual veil of rain—the Hidden Rain Village!

The Hidden Rain Village is renowned for various assassination techniques, and though its nation is small, its unique location allows it to navigate between the three major countries.

The village is filled with tall buildings since the excess rainwater accumulates below. The villagers use various overhead bridges to move around.

Meanwhile, inside the central building of the Hidden Rain Village, covered in the gloomy rain curtain.

"Bang!"

A middle-aged man wearing a mask-like breathing apparatus slammed the table fiercely.

"What does Konoha mean by this!? Are they seeking revenge!?" he said in a low voice.

In front of him, many high-ranking Rain Village officials were discussing.

"Recently, Konoha's ninja activities on the border have become more frequent, and their ambition to incite war has become harder to conceal!"

One person said indignantly.

"It's not about inciting war; the war has already begun! Look, this is the recent supply

income of the Rain Village. As the main supplier, the Land of Fire has reduced all important supplies!" another person spoke, scanning everyone present.

"This means that Konoha's actions against the Land of Rain are not trivial; they have been sanctioned by the Land of Fire! They have already started tearing up the peace treaty!" he declared.

His words startled many present!

For them, Konoha's past actions were still vivid in their memories, and its reputation was naturally fearsome!

"Sigh... If we had known this, we shouldn't have sent Chiki and Ameyuri Rin last year..." one person sighed, slightly complaining.

But before he could finish his words, someone angrily retorted, "What's the point of saying that now!? Do you have a problem with Lord Hanzo orders back then!?"

"If it weren't for Lord Hanzo orders, how could the Land of Fire have relaxed the prices of various supplies!? The citizens of the Land of Rain would have starved long ago!"

Hearing this, the masked man sitting in front of the table lightly glanced at the sighing person. His eyes exuded a profound gaze as he raised his hand to silence the argument.

"Enough, Bon."

"He's is not wrong, but I indeed did not expect Konoha to take actions that would break the peace treaty! I had hoped to make Konoha pay attention to the Hidden Rain Village and avoid pushing us into a dead end. I didn't expect that they would still provoke them a year later..."

"Now we have no way out, and we cannot defeat Konoha with our strength alone. We must involve other ninja villages."

Hanzo spoke in a calm and organized manner.

The people below nodded upon hearing Hanzo's words, their expressions becoming solemn.

Soon, everyone started taking action, conveying various preparations for battle.

"Swoosh!" "Swoosh!" "Swoosh!"...

Several shadows flew in all directions from the towering buildings.

Shortly there after,

Their figures slowly disappeared into the gloomy rain curtain...

Meanwhile, in a desolate area covered with bleak rocky walls, numerous buildings with karst topography foundations were rooted here, just like houses carved out of rocks!

In the sky, fragments of stones occasionally flew down with the wind, creating a sound like the falling rain.

This was a unique "Rock Rain" phenomenon, famous in the natural world and a distinct feature of the Land of Earth.

In the office of the Tsuchikage,

A seemingly short middle-aged man was carefully examining the intelligence report brought by his subordinates. He had a large nose, sharp and spirited eyes, exuding an undeniable determination.

"From the looks of it, Konoha's recent actions are indeed a deployment against the Land of Rain."

Staring at the report, he pondered for a moment before continuing, "If I'm not mistaken, the recent assassination of the daimyo in the Land of Fire should be the trigger for this turmoil."

At this moment, a ninja below spoke up in inquiry, "Is it true that the assassination was carried out by the Hidden Rain Village!? Given the economic strength of the Land of Rain, it's highly unlikely they would make such a foolish move."

Hearing this, the middle-aged man with a mask-like face looked at him with a burning gaze and said in a deep voice, "At this point, it no longer matters if it was the Hidden Rain Village or not. Now that the event has occurred, Konoha is like a puppet suspended over a furnace. We must find someone responsible for this."

"There is no doubt that the Hidden Rain Village is the most suitable opponent! And all we need to do is gain the maximum benefit from this upcoming war!"

Hearing his words, the ninja below nodded thoughtfully, some showing surprise and doubt, and asked, "So, Tsuchikage, does that mean... war... war is going to break out again?"

The man known as Tsuchikage, with a solemn expression, nodded slightly. In his heart, he thought, 'Will Konoha finally reveal their monstrous Talent once again...?'

But the Iwagakure Village was no longer the same as it was in the past!

Let me see, whether the once-dominant Konoha still possesses the same strength as before!?

Sandaime, you see, this time, I won't let Iwagakure suffer the same humiliation as before!

As he thought this, Onoki recalled a scene from his memories.

In the scene, he lay helplessly on the ground, looking up at a pair of blood-red eyes filled with indifference, saying coldly, "Still struggling, huh? Your strength is far too weak."

Uchiha... Madara...

Meanwhile, inside the Forest of Death in Konoha,

"Come on, Sakuya, try this way of channeling chakra. If you can do it, it will release powerful energy with the help of specific incantations."

A gentle voice spoke slowly.

In the field, a lovely girl blushed as she looked ahead, gently raising her hands.

She was trying hard to feel the way Sōsuke had described to channel chakra, but she couldn't manage it as he had said.

Eventually, she closed her eyes and suddenly opened them, revealing blood-red Sharingan.

After trying with the Sharingan, she reluctantly gave up.

"No... I can't do it, Sōsuke. I'm sorry... I must be stupid," Sakuya said disheartenedly.

Hearing her, Sōsuke smiled gently and reassured her, "It's alright; it's difficult the first time. I'll think of a way to help you achieve it as soon as possible."

Deep in his eyes behind the glasses, a gleam of light flashed.

Indeed... Is the power of Shinigami not meant for other people...?
