While he was thinking all this, the door of the room opened and Ember entered in the room with butler James and Cecelia who was wearing her mask again. When Ember's eyes meet with Joseph an invisible spark of hatred erupts between them.
Ember hates seeing the face of this bastard. She knows behind his holy face, a wolf is hiding. After the war with William's Empire, this bastard says that it was all done by William and the Church is not behind that war. To whom he is Fooling, did he think that she was a child who could be easily coaxed by lies? In that war, she stepped in late beacause some people have huge ego and thought her involvement will not change anything and they can easily handle war. The priests behind Bishop Joseph frowned after watching her behavior, they were going to argue with her for behaving like this but Bishop gave them a hand signal to stop them from arguing with Ember and creating any problematic situation, because he knew this was her tactic and if Priests started arguing with her she will blame him for his subordinates improper behavior. He was also angry but he didn't let it show on his face.
" Long time no see Duchess Ember, you are as beautiful as ever". Said the pope with a fake smile on his face.
Austin who was sitting beside his wife, frowned and thought. did this bastard try to flirt with his wife, should he cut his tongue and pluck his eyes? While he was thinking all this Ember spoke.
"And you are ugly as ever Bishop". Said Ember with a smile his on face.
Everyone in the room beside Joseph and his followers started chuckling and Joseph's face turned red in anger and looked like he had swallowed a fly.
"Haha, you are jesting like always,Duchess Ember". Said Joseph while maintaining his composere.
"Think what you like". Said Ember.
An Awkward silence occurred in the room. Joseph doesn't even know how to continue the conversation because Ember is ending every conversation with a single sentence.
" Well Duchess Ember you are wrong about one thing, I am no more a mere Bishop, now I have become an Arch Bishop". Said Joseph with great pride because the position of Arch Bishop is many times greater than a Bishop, whereas A Bishop was only responsible for taking care of a particular Branch of a church, an Arch Bishop has power over many branches of the church in different continents and many Bishops work under an Arch Bishop.
This posting he got after he was able to make William's Empire part of the Church, even though he had lost a Peak tier Supreme Magus, even then the church was very happy about this achievement and appointed him as an Arch Bishop.

She knows if this is true then,She also had to be ready for the upcoming Strom because the birth of Hero king and Demon King is equal to the whole world turning into the battlefield. She wants to know more information about this and the purpose of their arrival.
"Well, because it's an order from Church. We are ordered to examine all newborn children so that we can find Hero or Demon king". Said Joseph, while hiding the fact that the Church is still considering its approach about how should they make all powerful people to cooperate with them in there search without creating any conflict. Joseph came here without the Church's main headquarters permission own his own, when he got information from William about Ember giving a birth to child and like him he also suspected a demonic women like Ember is capable of giving birth to Demon Prince. He wanted to confirm his suspicions as soon as possible, so he came here when he got the news.
Ember took a deep breath and said, "So what will happen if my son turns out be Hero king or Demon King?
Joseph kept quiet for a few seconds to choose his words wisely, so that the situation didn't go out of hand. "Well if he turned out to be Hero king or Demon king we will take him to the main headquarters of our church.
"Well, why don't you in simple words say that he if turned out to be Hero you will make him your puppet for the greater good or whatever reason and if he turned out to be Demon king you will fatten him like pig to be slaughtered at the hands of Hero or your so called Divine Son. Do you think that everyone in the world is ignorant about your so-called play of Hero king and Demon King". Said Ember with a smile on her face but this time her smile turned out to be creepy which sent chills down to everyone's spine in the room. The temperature of the room started going up and everyone felt like they sitting in fire. Ember got up from her seat and Glared at Joseph and his followers.
"Stop Ember don't do any stupid or you will regret it. I have recording tools on me if anything happens to me Church will know about it and it will declare war on your Empire for killing me and my followers. I am no longer a mere Bishop and I am an Arch Bishop and this examination is the order of the church, refusing to cooperate will considered as Heresy against the church, God kings, and whole human kind. You will be labeled as a follower of demons". Said Joseph while creating a protective layer around him and his followers with fear in his voice.
"You are the heretic you bastards. Taking away a newborn child from his mother or thinking about killing her newborn child is the greatest Heresy, you bastards. It doesn't matter to me if my son is Demon King or Hero King or a normal human being. What matters is that he is my son. I will turn the whole world into ashes, if you touch even a single hair of his head".
Everyone started sweating from the heat in the room and Ember was ready to attack Joseph and his followers and Joseph was also ready to use a special tool that he brought for life-threatening moments like this. This tool can teleport him back to church but it can only teleport him alone, so his followers will be left at Ember's mercy after he used it.
