Chapter 1 starts
Fang Hi: I am Fang Hi. I don't have anyone in this world except my sister, Jasmine. Today, I am going to gift a ring I earned through hard work to my girlfriend, Lin. (Talking to himself) Even after not having my parents in this world, I have a cute little sister, a best friend, and a beautiful girlfriend.
**Day: Friday**
**Scene 1 - At School (Inside the School Playground)...**
(He sees his girlfriend with his best friend, Tanny, in his arms. Fang Hi becomes shocked and angry, running towards his girlfriend.)
Fang Hi (angrily): Lin! What are you doing with Tanny?
Lin: You're not worthy of me, trash!
Fang Hi: What? What did you say? And what about our 3 years of love? I... to celebrate our 3 years, I brought you a ring. (Takes out a golden ring)
Lin: You trash! I'm sure this ring is cheap. (Takes the ring from Fang Hi's hand and throws it away)
(Fang Hi becomes angry and tries to slap Lin, but his best friend, Tanny, stops him and kicks him in the chest. Fang Hi falls to the ground. He can't do anything as Tanny is rich and has bodyguards around him. Tanny orders his guards to throw Fang Hi out of the school.)
Tanny: Guards! Throw this trash outside the school. (A creepy smile on his face)
(His guards pick up Fang Hi and throw him outside. Fang Hi gets up, wipes his tears, feeling betrayed by his girlfriend and best friend. He's angry but calms himself, thinking he needs to see his sister at home.)
**Scene 2 - Opens the Door of Home (Sound of the door opening)...**
Jasmine (happily): Onii-chan!
(She runs into Fang Hi's arms)
Jasmine: Onii-chan, aren't we going shopping today?
Fang Hi: Yeah, we are. We'll go in 5 minutes. Until then, I'll get ready, okay?
Jasmine: Okay, Onii-chan! (She happily runs to her room)
Fang Hi: Damn it! If only I had saved my money instead of wasting it on that damn ring. It's all because of that foolish woman. (Talking to himself)
Fang Hi: (Goes to his room, checks his piggy bank, and breaks it open to count the money) 90... 100... (counting) 150.
Fang Hi: Oh man! (Takes a deep breath) I don't have enough money for shopping. I hope there's a discount offer today.
**Scene 3 - Walking Towards the Shopping Mall with His Sister...**
(Inside the shopping mall)
Receptionist Lady: Welcome, customer. What would you like to purchase?
Fang Hi: Jasmine, should we buy noodles for our dinner tonight?
Jasmine: Okay, Onii-chan.
Fang Hi: Noona (big sister), I'd like to buy a 100 Rs. noodle, and... (hesitates to talk) and can I get a little bit of discount today?
(Receptionist Lady thinks - Poor boy, doesn't even have enough money. If I give him more discount, I might get fired, but looking at him and his cute little sister, I'll give him a discount)
Receptionist Lady: Fang Hi, I can give you a 5 percent discount, and the total cost will be 95 Rs. Will you still buy it?
Fang Hi: Yes! I'd like to purchase it.
Jasmine: Onii-chan! (Catches Fang Hi's hand) I want a bottle of juice.
(Fang Hi sees the price tag - 50 Rs. - hesitates to buy it, but seeing his sister's face, he buys it)
Fang Hi: Noona! I'd also like to purchase this juice.
Receptionist Lady: Okay!
(Fang Hi smiles and pays 145 Rs. from his total of 150 Rs., then takes his sister by the hand and starts to leave the mall)
Receptionist Lady: Bye, have a good day!
**Scene 4 - Walking on the Road with His Sister...**
Jasmine (happily): Now today, I'll get to taste juice after a long time. (Says to Fang Hi) And... (then the juice bottle falls to the road, and Jasmine tries to go towards the road)
Fang Hi: Jasmine! Wait, I'll bring the bottle. (Leaves Jasmine by the road corner for her safety)
Jasmine: Okay, Onii-chan!
(As Fang Hi picks up the juice bottle, a bright light is seen on his face, covering his eyes)
Jasmine (screams): Onii-chan!! (Fang Hi blacks out)
**Scene 5 - In the Hospital...**
Fang Hi (opens his eyes): Where is this place? This place seems like a hospital! (To himself)
(Tries to get up but can't move his body)
(Fang Hi then hears his sister's voice from outside the hospital window)
Jasmine (crying): Doctor! What happened to my brother? I want to see him!
Doctor (takes a deep breath, with a sad face): Jasmine, your brother is paralyzed for his whole life.
Jasmine (shocked): No! This can't happen to my brother! (She sits on the floor and starts to cry)
Fang Hi (to himself): What? I am paralyzed! This can't be happening to me. I still need to take care of my sister. I am so unfortunate. First, I was betrayed by my best friend and my girlfriend, and now that I am thinking about studying hard to take care of my sister, I became paralyzed? Damn it! (He talks to himself, starts to cry silently)
(And then, a voice is heard in his head)
*System: Ding!!! Golden finger system has found a perfect host... starting merging with the host.*
(Fang Hi: What the? Why am I hearing this robotic voice? Am I hallucinating?)
System: Merging with host in 3...2...1...
*Ding!!! Merging with host successfully.*
System: Free newbie pack... host, do you wish to open the newbie pack?
Fang Hi: System? What is this? Am I still in a dream, or am I hallucinating? If this is a dream, then I don't want to wake up from it. (Thinking)
Fang Hi: Sys-system? (Says) system! Open the newbie pack.
System: Command received!! Opening newbie pack...
**System Opens...**
*Golden Finger System*
- **Newbie Gift:** Full recovery, +1 point for all stats...!!!
System: Host! Do you wish to accept the newbie pack?
Fang Hi: Yes!
System: Command received! (A bright yellow light emerges over Fang Hi's whole body) Recovering...!!!
(Fang Hi feels a new type of relaxing light as it surges through his body)
*Ding!!! Recovery completed...*
*Ding!!! +1 status for all stats completed...*
(Fang Hi gets up) What is this power? I am feeling full of energy... it feels like I can break anything with just a little bit of force.
(He gets up and goes towards the hospital wall, punches it, creating a loud crashing sound. The doctor and Jasmine rush in.)
Doctor: What is this sound? Did it come from the patient's room?
Jasmine: Br-brother! (She runs towards Fang Hi's room)
(Doctor and Jasmine enter Fang Hi's hospital room)
Doctor (sees the broken wall): My god! Did something heavy hit the wall?
(He then notices Fang Hi standing beside the broken wall)
Jasmine (happily, tears in her eyes): Onii-chan!
(Fang Hi carries her with one hand)
Fang Hi: I'm sorry, Jasmine, for giving you a hard time. (He smiles)
Doctor (shocked): My god! This... this is a miracle!
(Fang Hi hears the system sound again in his head)
System: System has found out that the host has done many good deeds and earned merit points. Rewarding the host with 1 million rupees.
(Fang Hi reaches into his pocket, takes out 5,000 rupees, and gives it to the doctor)
Doctor (shocked): (Fang Hi then leaves the room and walks towards the hospital gate to go home)
Jasmine (very happy)
Fang Hi: Jasmine, don't worry. From now on, Onii-chan will take good care of you.
Jasmine (happily): Okay, Onii-chan.
(He hears the system voice again)
System: (Now, host has access to status, inventory, skill, shop)
Fang Hi: (Smiles and goes home with his sister, Jasmine)
