Zora Hughes looked helpless, "Grandfather, please don't be angry. Cousin Xaviera is now the wife of the president of the Mamet Corporation. She looks down on us because of her pride and arrogance. Your health isn't good; please don't let her affect you. Let's go home."
The bystanders overheard her. The people flooding the company quickly spread the news throughout the hall. Mrs. Mamet had just taken office and was rejecting her own grandfather? This was, after all, her grandfather. Was she refusing even to meet with him when he made a personal trip to the company to see her?
"Could Mrs. Mamet really be so heartless?"
