Perhaps she felt sorry for Wyatt Barnes, or maybe she was grateful for his help in passing the examination for the inner disciple.

She gracefully stepped forward to stand in front of Wyatt and addressed the group of female disciples from Shimmering Light Peak, "Enough is enough... Wyatt came to our Shimmering Light Peak because my master called him here. If he were to be delayed because of you, and my master decides to blame you, then you will have to shoulder the responsibility."
Chloe's words proved effective; even though the disciples hesitated, they obediently dispersed.
As many of the female disciples left, they cast flirtatious glances at Wyatt, causing him to feel helpless.
"Sister Chloe, do they seem to be afraid of Jade Elder?"
