Emily Taylor didn't respond, but instead, somewhat slyly, said, "Aren't you scared?"
After thinking for a moment, Ethan Smith said, "I'm a little scared, but I will never agree."
"You won't agree? But the Taylor family insists on my marrying him," Emily continued.
Ethan thought for a moment and then said, "Then I will help you escape from the Taylor family! We can roam the world together, on the run!"
"Excellent idea!" Emily's eyes also lit up, she whispered, "Let's settle on that. Before The Day of Heaven's Mandate comes, I'll find a way to escape the Taylor family!"
Ethan was taken aback. He thought he was joking, but it looked like Emily was very serious.
"You... you really want to run away with me?" Ethan asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
