Tae Yang asked them to go see the river.
The riverbank was narrow, and the road surface was sometimes smooth, sometimes bumpy. From north to south, they could see the setting sun shuttling between the trees; around a bend, the sun disappeared, casting shadows on the river with many boats docked, each equipped with large iron ladders extending from the boats to the shore which is the only passage connecting the boatmen to the land.
Sun Joon Ho curled up in front of the bike, his head sticking out far; his back was pressed against Kangjeon Tae Hyun's abdomen, but he couldn't summon any stray thoughts: his butt hurt, and his legs were constantly bumping into Kangjeon Tae Hyun's feet.
The only comfort was that Kangjeon Tae Hyun wasn't pedaling vigorously; he was cycling slower than a snail.
After a few minutes, he rested his chin on Sun Joon Ho's neck, saying he was tired and needed a break, his stubble rubbing aimlessly back and forth.
