Sun Joon Ho took Kangjeon Tae Hyun and snapped a photo next to a small cat owl with ink-green chest feathers, and then asked Kangjeon Tae Hyun to take him to the riverside.
Before her grandmother moved to the countryside, her place was only a five-minute walk from the river. Although it was a short distance, Sun Joon Ho had to pass through the perilous path between two old houses with shaky and weathered red brick walls and a narrow alleyway that perpetually dripped water.
The alley was deep and narrow, devoid of sunlight year-round. The few residents on the side kept their doors closed at all times, as opening them would expose their tiny, palm-sized houses completely.
