He felt happy about Ethlando's sudden love, that long-lost warmth flowing into his chest through his veins, making him feel incredibly warm. So even though he had to say something incredibly cruel right now, he didn't find it as difficult as he might have thought.
He just needed to hold back the tears.

And so, Halueth immersed himself in his own world, completely unaware that Ethlando was watching him intently.
There was no anger or indifference as he had imagined. Before long, Halueth felt himself being pulled into the man's embrace.
