In year 3xxx, the society broken in two or three stations known as Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. All individuals are governed by their natural need to reproduce through things like scenting, biting, knotting, and mating (marking).
Alphas, they are typically large in size with dominant, aggressive personalities and usually knot into their mate to impregnate them. They could impregnate even it is a male or female omega. Sometimes they can only knot when they are in a rut (heat).

Betas, they are one step underneath an Alpha. In any case they may not impregnate omegas. And they cannot get pregnant by the alphas. They cannot scent the fragrance of omegas and alphas. Finally, they cannot get into rut (heat) like alphas and omegas.
Omegas, who tends to be at the bottom of the pecking order. They are usually smaller in size and prey for the alphas. Omega goes into heat, which can be at random, spurred by an Alpha, or at regular intervals but when in heat, their need for sex controls them. Also, male omegas can get pregnant. Once they are mated (marked) to one person then it is for life. Bonds between an Omega and Alpha are considered special and unbreakable.
