Daidara charged forward, pulling out the two large axes on his back. The oncoming cavalry was instantly knocked down, causing countless soldiers to tumble off their horses.
The axes in his hands were incredibly sharp; with a single swing, he could tear apart the armor on the cavalrymen and cleave both horse and rider in two. The scene was extremely bloody.
Silvia was stunned.
She instantly understood that these three people were not ordinary bandits; they were probably assassins sent from the imperial capital.
"Damn ministers."
Silvia gritted her teeth, knowing that ordinary soldiers wouldn't be able to handle them. She drew her sword and charged.
Silvia was quite skilled and could be considered an expert among ordinary people.
She had even hunted a high-risk creature before.
But against an Imperial arm user, the two were obviously not on the same level.
"Can you give me more experience?"
Daidara cruelly smiled, looking at Silvia's petite and beautiful figure, already imagining tearing her apart.
"Don't ruin her skin, Daidara. I want to peel it off and use it as decoration," Nyau said from the side, her beautiful eyes scanning Silvia.
"Damn it."
Hearing this, Silvia felt humiliated.
She increased her strength, but when her sword met Daidara's axe, it was knocked out of her hand, the terrifying force causing her to lose her balance.
Silvia staggered and fell to the ground.
Daidara's towering figure blocked out the sun, looking down at her while weighing the two large axes in his hands, his eyes growing increasingly vicious.
Originally, he planned to cut Silvia in two, but considering Nyau's warning, he didn't want to provoke the madwoman, so he shifted his axe, aiming for Silvia's neck.
"It's over."
Desperation filled Silvia's eyes as she saw the sharp axe approach. A clang resounded as metal met metal, sparking a collision.
The immense force pushed Daidara back, his axe flying out of his hands, flipping in the air, and finally landing in the ground, creating a crack.
Silvia paused for a moment, then saw a figure appear before her.
It was Lin Yi, who had hurried over.
"Phew, looks like I didn't arrive too late."
Lin Yi's mouth curled up, and the Jörmungandr in his hand released a terrifyingly high temperature, making everything around him seem slightly distorted at that moment.
Silvia was stunned, her face flushing uncontrollably and her breathing became rapid.
However, Lin Yi was unaware that in this brief moment, he had conquered a young girl's heart.
Daidara finally stabilized his posture, looked at the sudden appearance of the figure with surprise, but still reached out toward the distant axe. The axe seemed to come to life, trembling slightly, before flying into his hand.
"It's the people from Night Raid."
The leader of the Three Beasts, Liver, narrowed his eyes slightly.
Night Raid has been rising in fame lately, especially with this newly-emerging member who had killed General Budo on the streets of the imperial capital using a special 'fire'-element Imperial Arm. This individual's prowess caused the imperial capital to take Night Raid seriously, increasing their focus on them many times over.
This person is also considered a strong opponent of Esdeath.
"Experience, so much experience."
Daidara, whose mind was full of nothing but muscles, didn't see it that way. He thought that the person before him was very strong, and if he could defeat him, his own power would certainly rise to another level.
As his words fell, Daidara charged toward Lin Yi without even giving Liver a chance to speak.
"Idiot."
Liver cursed under his breath.
Although the Three Beasts are a team, there's not much camaraderie between them.
Seeing Daidara acting so recklessly, he was already concerned about his own situation.
Daidara rushed up to Lin Yi in three strides, raising his large axe high, ready to strike down. Lin Yi dodged to the side and accurately grabbed his wrist, shattering all the bones in his arm with a crisp cracking sound, like a master of joint-locking techniques.
"Crack~ Ah!!"
Painful screams echoed around them.
Lin Yi seemed indifferent, his movements brutal and decisive. He propped his arm against the opponent's throat to prevent him from falling, then violently smashed his arm down, breaking his neck directly.
Daidara, one of the Three Beasts, was easily dealt with.
Silvia's pupils contracted. She had just crossed hands with Daidara and knew how formidable this man was. But in her eyes, such a terrifying figure was dealt with by Lin Yi in an instant.
"So...so powerful…"
Silvia muttered in a daze.
Lin Yi waved his hand casually, putting the imperial arm double-headed axe into his system space.
His coordinate collection mission had advanced another step.
However, this imperial arm still didn't contribute much to his improvement, and he himself wasn't very interested.
"Run!"
Liver no longer hesitated. Anyone who could defeat General Budo and instantly kill Daidara was definitely not someone they could handle. He directly ordered Niwa to run.
Lin Yi sneered. How could he let go of the three imperial arms that were so easily delivered to his doorstep?
…
Liver retreated and immediately took out his own imperial arm.
The surrounding moisture was immediately mobilized and turned into a water wall in front of them in the blink of an eye.
As the magical power of the imperial arm finished its casting, Liver didn't hesitate at all and quickly turned to run.
However, the next moment, Lin Yi swung the Jörmungandr in his hand. High temperatures appeared, and the scorching heat made even Silvia have to raise her hand to shield herself. She only felt her mouth and nose dry, and she was almost out of breath.
Lin Yi waved his hand lightly.
A scorching wave of fire swept through the sky and instantly turned into a sword qi. The seemingly sturdy water wall shattered in an instant.
A large amount of water vapor evaporated.
That sword qi's power didn't diminish in the slightest. It was Liver who reacted and hurriedly grabbed Nyau next to him, dodging to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack.
A grotesque trench appeared on the ground.
Nyau swallowed, frightened by the power of this sword, and her forehead was already covered in cold sweat.
Liver also looked unhappy. He didn't choose to rescue her because of deep feelings with his colleague, but felt that having one more Nyau to help would slightly improve their chances.
"Damn Daidara, he's ruined us."
Nyau cursed viciously. That fool didn't even understand the strength of the opponent before making a move.
Now only the two of them were left, and the situation had become even more critical.
Who would have thought that a small assassination mission could actually draw out a 'BOSS'.
