Chapter 130 - TTW Chapter 130: Lambert

"Hey! Be careful!"

Argenta yelled from the bow of the ship, but Lin Yi might not have heard.

Lin Yi, plummeting through the air, stretched out his hand, and a golden flash of thunder disappeared in an instant. With a thunderous boom, countless clouds of dust were set off.

Even the aftershocks of the collision sent dozens of Monsters flying.

As the smoke cleared, a thunderous roar shook the heavens and the earth. A massive hand pierced through the clouds, launching an attack directly at countless Monsters. Lin Yi stood on the shoulder of the Armored Titan.

"What... what is this..."

Lambert was already dumbfounded, staring blankly at the Titan ahead, about ten meters high and covered in steel. Ordinary Monsters, even Monster leaders, were no match for it.

Meanwhile, a huge anchor fell from the sky, sweeping across and sending another dozen Monsters flying.

Lin Yi casually grabbed Lambert's collar, lifted him up like an object, then easily jumped onto the anchor.

The anchor began to rise, quickly ascending.

"Woof! Woof!"

Two dog barks sounded, and Lin Yi saw that two strange little animals were biting Lambert's shoes, following them as they flew up.

The dogs in this world were really strange, fluffy like balls of meat and only had two legs.

With the help of the anchor, Lin Yi and others returned to the ship. He casually tossed Lambert onto the deck and looked up to see that Geraint and Barnac were both waiting at the bow of the ship.

They were interested because this was their first time seeing Lin Yi take action.

"Lin Yi, what is that Titan thing?"

Barnac's voice was somewhat unclear, stuttering. He looked down, and the Armored Titan was still fighting the Monsters. Their combat powers were not on the same level; it was almost a one-sided slaughter.

The weapons of the Monsters couldn't break the defense of the Armored Titan, who could easily crush the Monsters into pulp.

"My little puppet," Lin Yi said softly. This world already had magic, fighting spirit, and many other supernatural powers, including puppetry.

However, the puppetry of this world could only control humans and some animals, and had very limited applications.

Not to mention, for combat.

But Lin Yi wasn't lying; it was a small toy he had temporarily created from the earth using the power of the Titan's authority.

"Such strong combat power," Barnac swallowed, still focused on the power of the Armored Titan, estimating that even he was no match for it.

"Lin Yi, how many such puppets can you make and control at the same time?" Geraint was concerned about something else; such power could be very useful when dealing with the black dragon.

Lin Yi pretended to think for a moment before finally looking up.

"I'm not sure, but as many as you want."

"Stop boasting," Argenta interjected.

Lin Yi shrugged, not elaborating further. The battle below was almost over; hundreds of Monsters were slaughtered by the Armored Titan within just a few minutes.

These Monsters couldn't even escape in time, and given the size of the Armored Titan, an ordinary Monster could be crushed to death with one foot.

Lin Yi snapped his fingers lightly, and the originally tall Armored Titan suddenly collapsed, dissipating like sand into smoke.

If the Armor Titan is not dispelled, it may soon become another Monster plaguing villages.

"Truly an incredible magic," Geraint sincerely commented.

For a Titan like this, it doesn't matter how much Lin Yi can actually control. Even being able to summon just this one would be a tremendous asset to the alliance.

He was grateful that his choice was correct.

"I heard you like furry little guys, so I'm giving you two dogs," Lin Yi said, giving Argenta the two pups that had followed him onto the ship.

"Wow, they're adorable."

Argenta was indeed very fond of the two dogs and accepted them with a rare smile on her face.

Lin Yi felt envious for the first time, looking at the little dogs lying in Argenta's arms.

"Hey, those are my dogs! Who are you people?" Lambert was still puzzled.

"Ah, I almost forgot about this dead fish," Barnac slapped his forehead. "Lin Yi, this is the little guy you saved. He's really rude. We just saved his life."

"Lin Yi? You are Lin Yi? I've heard tales about you holding off an army by yourself at the border..." Lambert was overjoyed.

Lin Yi shrugged, "I'll leave this to you," then looked at Lambert, "Also, your dogs have been conscripted."

"Why are you leaving it to me?"

"My dogs..."

Both Barnac and Lambert exclaimed in surprise.

Lin Yi completely ignored them and left with Argenta for the ship's cabin.

Argenta held the animals but looked upset. Lin Yi's intentions were too obvious for her to ignore.

She hesitated before speaking, "If you joined the alliance against the Black Dragon just to pursue me, and not for your own goals, you should leave now."

"The Black Dragon is incredibly powerful, far beyond any monster. You're strong, but you could still lose your life."

"Are you worried about me? I've found what I'm looking for, and I won't leave," Lin Yi joked.

"Is it? That's great."

Argenta nodded but looked a bit forlorn.

"My goal is to keep you safe. If you leave the alliance, I'll leave with you," Lin Yi said, not entirely truthfully, but it sounded nice.

After all, he knew Geraint wouldn't leave, and so Argenta wouldn't either.

As a Dragonkin, Argenta had never had anyone confess so openly to her. She didn't know what to say and quickly pushed Lin Yi away as they neared her bedroom.

"Nonsense, it's impossible between us."

"Why?"

"I..." Argenta bit her lip. Her Dragonkin identity was a secret. "You'll understand later."

She then entered her bedroom and shut the door with a bang.

"Tell Lambert that I'll return his dogs. I just love small animals too much and wanted to keep them for a while."

Lin Yi smiled slightly; things were progressing very smoothly.

From the original story, the attitude of everyone changed drastically when Geraint and Argenta revealed their Dragonkin identity, even their comrades in arms were no exception, let alone others.

In this world, most people harbored deep animosity toward the Dragonkin.
