"Can I please call up to the stage Harith Shareef!" Everyone erupted into applause.
I walked up to the stage and and face the principle.He smiles at me and hands me the mic.I begin by clearing my throat and taking a deep breath. I look at the audience to see my parents, Shareef and friends all smiling at me and supporting me on.
"I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude to everyone here.It must surely jave been great troublr for everyonr to take out time in their busy schedules to participate in ghis event so I thank you all for attending. Next I would like to thank this school on behalf of us all. I thank all our teachers for all the effort they have put into us over the years and for not giving up on us.It is through their continuous support that we have come so far. I thank the school for providing us with all the tools we needed to excel in our studies. It has definitely been an experience to treasure for all of us despite the many struggles along the way.Ljke the morning drills in the bitter winter or the long hours to meet deadlines. But I can whole heartedly say that that effort we put to our education has now reaped fruits which we are sure to reap for our days to come. So as we leave to embark on our own journeys, let us not forget the lessons we have learnt and the bonds we have formed. I personally have had a wonderful time in which I have made allies whom I cherish. Let us not leave on a melcholy note but rather a positive one. This is not the end. It is simply a new beginning. I thank everyone for joining again."
The crowd applauded a long standing ovation but everything calmed down and I left the stage to sit with everyone. Finally it was over.
