The police officer answered the call and heard the voice of the bureau leader, "Release Ye Haiyang. Don't ask why, just follow orders."
"Alright," replied the police officer with a face full of reluctance, yet he had no choice but to obey. He asked his colleague to stop the car, unlocked Ye Haiyang's handcuffs, and let Haiyang get out.
"How about that, not even five minutes, right?" Ye Haiyang boasted smugly.
"You might be arrogant now, but I'll catch you sooner or later," the officer said with a dark expression.
"You'll never have the chance to catch me in your goddamn life!" Ye Haiyang retorted with a defiant laugh and turned to leave.
After taking a taxi home, he saw his father sitting on the living room sofa.
Haiyang immediately ran over and said, "Dad, you must help me get revenge."
Ye Taian frowned and scolded, "Revenge for what? Do you not know what you've done yourself? A student without the semblance of a student, do you realize you're embarrassing your old man?"
