"And Shadow Projection should make it impossible to regenerate naturally," he added.
"Well, that's Light Magic. It's anything but natural," I said.
"No, something like Light Magic doesn't exist in this world at all!" the magician retorted.
That's right. I noticed the skeptical gaze of my father and my brother Julian, resting on me.
"Nori, you have to help me. I don't want to be banished as a witch. Please give me a plausible explanation for this."

Just say it's the will of Eldorin. His son Josh appeared to me in a dream.
"I have been blessed by Eldorin!" I replied to him.
To my surprise, that seemed like a reasonable answer to everyone.

I repurposed the Light Magic, which is meant for healing and strengthening. A beam instantly pierced the magician's head. It's truly OP.
The magician disintegrated into a shadow. I'm not sure if he's dead now or if it was just a trick. The fact is, I no longer sense his presence here. But what I do sense are the many eyes staring at me.
I quoted something from the Book of Origins: "The light of Eldorin will destroy the shadows. Where there is light, the shadow must yield! However, my time has not yet come."
Happy that my little performance had worked, I began to heal the rest of the poisoned people. I raised my arm and healed it again while disabling the Earth Hand.
My father apologized for the inconvenience and ended the banquet as quickly as possible. Some of the nobles were upset and demanded compensation. However, my father's wise friends pointed out that it could have happened to anyone and that it still needed to be determined who the assassin was and who may have hired him.
The nobles left the building. My father placed his hand on my shoulder and said, "I didn't know you were chosen. I will take you to the temple immediately."
