"I can't kiss you," said Ina once they reappeared near the entrance to a cave.
"Of course not," said Kier as he inspected the entrance. "We've only really known each other for a week and some days.

"But I find myself completely drawn to you and I was definitely not lying when I said I wanted to lose myself in the calmness of a kiss with you. I'm absolutely certain it would quiet my mind."
"I don't know what I should say to that Kier. I don't know if I can trust you."
