Chapter 38 - IZAAK VS FIEND UDO

Fiend Udo surged forward, his malevolent grin etched onto his face like a wicked omen.

"Natus: Transi," he muttered with a sinister undertone.

Another portal unfurled, swallowing him whole in the blink of an eye. The portal shut with a whisper, and in the very next moment, it ripped open again, this time behind Izaak.

Fiend Udo materialized, his wicked intentions clear, poised to seize Izaak. Yet, as he lunged, Izaak's fingers danced with practiced precision, conjuring yet another portal directly in Fiend Udo's path.

"What the-" Fiend Udo couldn't react in time, stumbling headlong into the abyssal rift.

With sudden swiftness, the portal reappeared before Izaak, thrusting Fiend Udo's back toward him.

Izaak, his voice as cool as a mountain stream, lightly tapped Fiend Udo's right shoulder. "I think you might be going the wrong way…"

Fiend Udo, fueled by rage, retaliated with a wild swing of his right hand, but Izaak's movements defied the boundaries of time. He delivered a cascade of lightning-quick blows that left Fiend Udo reeling. A fierce punch from Izaak sent Fiend Udo soaring through the air.

Mid-flight, Izaak's fingers clicked again, birthing a portal behind Fiend Udo. With no choice but to obey the whims of the portals, he hurtled through it, disappearing into the unknown.

The portal closed and reemerged in front of Izaak, this time trapping Fiend Udo within its inescapable confines. A vice-like grip seized Fiend Udo's neck from behind as Izaak slammed him into the earth with crushing force, an awe-inspiring display of otherworldly strength.

A thunderous stomp followed, but Fiend Udo, gasping for breath, evaded with a nimble roll, executing a backflip to create distance between them.

Izaak's voice held an undercurrent of curiosity as he taunted his adversary, "Surely that's not all the king of Fiendity has, right?"

Fiend Udo, his strength waning but his malevolent spirit unwavering, muttered through strained words, "How could I forget? He's Abrams's understudy, inheriting all his abilities. All four Natus elements plus the power to wield them without incantations." He smirked weakly, acknowledging his inferiority.

With desperation in his eyes, Fiend Udo clasped his hands and invoked a formidable power, "Kalo: Power Mike."

The very earth quaked in response to his summoning.

A colossal chasm cracked open behind Izaak, a yawning abyss of darkness.

"Huh?" Izaak uttered, his perplexed gaze fixed upon the unfolding chaos.

From the depths of the chasm, an immense Power Mike surged forth, his massive form erupting with a roar that shook the heavens and earth alike.

Izaak's eyes widened in astonishment, his heart racing as he realized the magnitude of the formidable adversary that now stood before him.

Power Mike's colossal form descended upon Izaak with a deafening roar, his immense fists raised high for a thunderous axe smash that threatened to shatter everything in its path. But Izaak, nimble as a fleeting shadow, reacted with lightning reflexes, narrowly dancing aside with a graceful sidestep that left Power Mike to unleash its destructive fury upon the ground.

The earth quaked under the sheer force of the strike, and a gaping chasm yawned wide in its wake, a testament to the titanic power of Power Mike's assault.

Izaak, teetering dangerously on the precipice of the newly formed abyss, knew he had to act swiftly to evade the next onslaught. With the precision of a master, his fingers clicked together, and a portal unfurled beneath him like a lifeline. It whisked him away to safety, reappearing several meters from the towering behemoth that was Power Mike.

As Izaak regained his footing, his golden eyes remained locked on the colossal foe before him, a formidable adversary that seemed almost unbeatable.

Fiend Udo, his smug grin a stark contrast to the chaos surrounding them, sauntered to Power Mike's side, their alliance unbroken and their malevolent intentions clear as they plotted their next move.

Fiend Udo sneered at Izaak, his voice dripping with mockery. "You okay, Izaak? You seem a little... frightened."

Izaak's response was a defiant smirk, a testament to his unyielding spirit. He stretched his body, the tension in his muscles palpable as he prepared for what lay ahead.

"It's not every day that you get to meet someone that massive," Izaak retorted, his tone laced with bravado. "Come on then, make it worthwhile."

With a shared determination to settle their score, Fiend Udo and Power Mike surged forward, closing the distance between them and Izaak.

In a sudden, unexpected twist, Power Mike seized Fiend Udo's legs, executing a whirlwind spin that propelled his accomplice toward Izaak like a living projectile.

Izaak's instincts kicked in, and he aimed his palm at the incoming menace. But Fiend Udo had different plans in mind, his incantation spoken with chilling precision.

"Natus: Transi."

A portal materialized with sinister yawning, and Fiend Udo vanished into its dark depths, leaving Izaak with nothing but empty air to strike.

The portal closed, revealing Power Mike hurtling toward Izaak with relentless force, his fists poised for devastation.

Izaak's heart pounded in his chest as he bent backwards in split-second timing, narrowly evading the destructive onslaught. The shockwaves from Mike's punch grazed his nose, drawing a minor cut that sent droplets of blood scattering.

In the blink of an eye, another portal materialized directly above Izaak, and Fiend Udo shot out like a missile. He descended upon Izaak with a double-footed stomp, driving him deep into the earth.

Time seemed to stretch as Izaak struggled to regain his bearings, the weight of Fiend Udo's attack bearing down on him.

Then, in a moment of sheer determination, Izaak rocketed out of the hole, his fingers locked tightly around Fiend Udo's neck like a vice.

Spotting the dire situation, Power Mike reacted with lightning speed. He leapt into the heavens, soaring through the air to meet them in a show of raw power and agility.

Fiend Udo, sensing the impending danger, swiftly pushed off Izaak's stomach, breaking free from his suffocating grip. With uncanny precision, Power Mike seized the opportunity, clapping his colossal hands together with thunderous force.

The shockwave that followed was catastrophic, an explosion of kinetic energy that rippled through the landscape. Izaak was sent hurtling away at an alarming velocity, his body becoming a mere projectile in the face of the devastating force.

With bone-crushing impact, Izaak crashed into a massive cliff, his body creating a deafening echo that reverberated through the rugged terrain, leaving him battered and bloodied, yet determined to rise once more.

Trapped within the jagged embrace of the cliff, Izaak's eyes widened in alarm as he noticed a portal materializing right before him. It seemed like salvation was beckoning in the most unexpected of forms.

Power Mike, propelled like a cannonball, shot out of the portal, his massive fist poised for a devastating strike. The very edge of the cliff succumbed, exploding into a hail of debris from the sheer force of Power Mike's impact.

With uncanny agility, Izaak tilted his head to the side, narrowly evading the cataclysmic punch that would have obliterated him. The ground quaked beneath his feet as he witnessed the devastation wrought upon the cliff's edge.

Izaak didn't waste a moment. He retaliated with a swift motion, raising his palm and unleashing a gravitational force that sent Power Mike hurtling through the air. The colossal foe collided with two towering, needle-like rocky structures, creating a thunderous collision that reverberated through the landscape.

As Izaak touched down on the ground, his senses on high alert, Fiend Udo reappeared above him, attempting to stomp him into submission. Izaak's reflexes were lightning-quick as he rolled away, narrowly escaping the fiend's crushing blow. They engaged in a frenzied exchange of blows, each combatant pushing their limits.

Meanwhile, Power Mike, undeterred by his previous collision, gripped the two massive rocks and hurled them at Izaak with titanic strength, his fury unchecked.

Fiend Udo, his smug grin never faltering, chanted, "Natus: Transi."

A portal unfurled behind him, and he leapt into it backwards, offering a mocking wave as he disappeared into the unknown.

Just as the two rocks hurtled toward Izaak with lethal intent, Power Mike unleashed a thunderous shockwave with a resounding punch, shattering the rocks into countless razor-sharp fragments.

Izaak's senses went into overdrive, detecting the perilous shower of shards just millimetres away. In a split second, he crossed his fingers.

Time around him dramatically slowed down, including the deadly fragments suspended in mid-air.

Swiftly, Izaak darted with incredible precision through the suspended fragments, positioning himself behind Power Mike. With the release of his crossed fingers, time resumed its normal pace.

"Explosive Vibration" Izaak swung a vicious punch at Power Mike's vulnerable back. Upon impact, the punch ignited, causing Power Mike to explode in a fiery conflagration as if a hidden bomb had been triggered.

Amidst the swirling dust and debris, Izaak emerged unscathed, his chest heaving with exertion and victory.

Izaak's voice cut through the chaos as he mused, "A perfectly timed explosive vibration hit could take out almost anything or anyone. Even a colossus like him."

His golden eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for his elusive adversary.

"Now then," Izaak murmured, a determined glint in his gaze, "where's the snake?"

Suddenly, as he attempted to lift his foot, he found himself locked to the ground.

Izaak's brow furrowed in confusion. "What?" he uttered, his voice a mere whisper against the eerie silence that had descended upon the landscape.

As the dust settled, Izaak's eyes widened in disbelief as he noticed that both of his feet had been ensnared by shifting sands. Panic began to claw its way into his mind, and he struggled futilely to break free.

His gaze darted upward, and there, with a smug grin etched across his face, stood Fiend Udo. The fiend's fingers were interlocked, a sinister gleam in his eyes.

Fiend Udo chanted ominously, "Finalis: Ukwa Oba."

Izaak's heart raced as he scanned the surroundings. The once-grassy and rocky terrain of Quiraing had been completely submerged in sand, and he realized the direness of his situation.

A defiant smirk tugged at Izaak's lips, though. "Power Mike was just a distraction so you could find a way to activate your Finalis, wasn't it?" he taunted.

Fiend Udo chuckled darkly. "He was, indeed. It's over. I win."

Izaak's mind raced as he considered his limited options. "Not only are his physical attributes multiplied by ten, but he can also teleport within the sand as he pleases, all while I'm immobilized," he thought. "There's only one thing I can do now…"

Fiend Udo leaned in with a wicked grin. "Any last words?"

Izaak's smirk remained unshaken. "If you want to hear my last words, you'll have to wait eighty more years."

Fiend Udo's laughter echoed eerily, but his triumph was short-lived. In the blink of an eye, he phased through the sand beneath him, emerging from the ground behind Izaak.

With a swift, deadly motion, Fiend Udo went for a chop to the back of Izaak's neck. The millisecond of the fiend's hand connected with Izaak's flesh, the world around them shifted.

Izaak whispered, "Fantasia: Paradise."

In an instant, a blinding light erupted, searing Fiend Udo's eyes with unbearable brilliance. He cried out in pain, clutching his blinded face.

As the intense radiance began to fade, Fiend Udo found himself transformed, his serpentine body coiled in confusion. He gawked at his surroundings, utterly bewildered.

Before him sprawled a heavenly realm. Angels, adorned with large, white wings, played enchanting melodies on trumpets and violins, filling the air with a divine symphony.

A few meters away, a long, wide flight of pure-white stairs ascended to an elevated platform. At its pinnacle stood Izaak, his golden eyes piercing the depths of Fiend Udo's soul.

Izaak's voice resonated with an unusual calmness as he asked, "You okay, Fiend? You look a little... frightened."
