Two weeks had passed since Bliss and about one hundred of the Demons had arrived in the deeper regions of the Dark Wolf Forest. The location they were in now was about fifteen miles north of the Demonic Dungeon. The area they appeared, was considered uninhabitable by humans who had long since tried to conquer the Northern region of the Forest but had failed multiple times.
When the crowd of demons first arrived, they basked in the sunlight, admiring the lush greenery around them. However, their happiness was fleeting. Within minutes, as the spatial portal behind them vanished, cutting off their connection to the dungeon and the flow of mana, their circumstances drastically changed.
The demons, who previously sported vibrant red or deep black skin with horns, suddenly collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain. They appeared as fish out of water, clutching their chests in a desperate attempt to adapt to the drastically reduced mana in the air.
