The coast had turned into a barren wasteland riddled with craters and scorched earth while the air was heavy with the acrid stench of blood and smoke. The rithmatic sound of the ocean crashing against the shore had been replaced by the mournful wails of injured soldiers and sea-demons alike. The once pristine waters now tainted with blood looked like a bottle of red wine dancing at its edges.
Despite all of this the battle was still not done.
Completely surrounded by an unending army of sea demons were three soldiers standing back to back as they desperately fended off the attacks.
