Nearly 5 hours had passed, and I hadn't moved an inch from his side. I kept staring at his face, unable to express the gratitude and happiness filling my heart. Only these falling tears could serve as evidence of my sincerity. Though usually, five hours might feel like a fleeting moment, this time was different. It felt exceptionally long, for reasons unknown.
Could this be genuine gratitude? I believe so. My heart feels tranquil and at ease. The loneliness that used to haunt it is gone. No longer does my heart cry alone in the darkness for itself; this time, it weeps for someone else. I am overjoyed by the gift bestowed upon me today.
A gentle breeze entered through the window, softly tousling our hair.
"It's been quite a while since he hasn't woken up. Hmm... (smiling) When he wakes up, he must be hungry, right? Should I look for food? What does he eat? Meat? But where can I find meat? Should I go to the border? No, that's too dangerous, but it's the only way."
Contemplating this, I walked into the garden, pondering solutions. Unconsciously, when I returned, he was gone.
"HUAAHHH!... Where is he? (panicking) Has he awakened, and feeling hungry, sprinted away like the last time? HUAHHH NO!"
With that adorable face, panic overtook me as I wondered where Kelfin had gone. If only her cute image could be seen by many.
As she turned her face, she spotted Kelfin in the distance, descending.
"When I saw that, I was shocked. I quickly and panickedly ran toward him, but why? He looks scared."
"Wait! Damn, he fell down; I must jump too."
But just as I was about to leap, I was slightly amazed. He cleverly used whatever he could to avoid a severe fall. Observing that, I realized he was genuinely frightened—afraid of me.
He landed quite smoothly despite sustaining some injuries. Witnessing that, I went from panic to worry, but I realized he was running away from me. What should I do? I'm confused. Should I help him? But how?
When Kelfin entered a room opposite to where he fell, Ayral started descending. In her heart, she thought, "I have to show that I'm a good person. I've got an idea! First, smile, and then walk toward him."
Kelfin, catching a glimpse of that, became even more frightened.
"Knock... Knock... Knock..."
[Ayral's idea of being kind and friendly seemed to fail miserably.]
She entered the room and went looking for Kelfin everywhere, a time-consuming process of checking each room. But eventually...
She used her strong sense of smell. Eventually, she found Kelfin staring out of the window. Wanting not to startle him, Ayral sat in the nearest chair.
"I'll sit first; if I stand, I might startle him again."
When he turned to me.
"..."
"He saw me this time! But why is he still leaving in a hurry? I'm smiling at him."
So, I decided to watch him from a distance without being detected. From the shadows, I observed him exploring every corner of the room. And when the moment came for him to fall asleep, I approached.
I extended both of my hands, palms outstretched, and slowly... His wounds... healed...
Yes, I healed his wounds while he slept.
[With her small hands and innocent face, she tried to heal Kelfin.]
The wind blowing through the window tousled our long hair. Ayral gazed at Kelfin's face resting on her lap.
In that moment, in those few minutes, for some reason, my heart felt very calm. I wanted to look at his face forever. I didn't want to be far from him; I wanted to always be by his side. Even if he didn't like me, I would still...
[Kelfin in Ayral's lap.]
...
7 HOURS LATER...
...
"Hmmm hmmmm hmmmm" (stroking Kelfin's hair). Ayral joyfully stroked Kelfin's hair, seemingly enjoying it.
"Humph huphh."
"Ah, darn it! (panicking) Humpss (covering the mouth)."
In her heart, Ayral was panicking, realizing that Kelfin was starting to regain consciousness. "I need to hide," she thought. Quickly standing up, she covered Kelfin with a cloth but made sure to hide.
When Kelfin woke up, Ayral hid behind a wall at a considerable distance, cautiously watching to avoid being noticed.
She looked at Kelfin like a shy person stealing glances from afar, admiring Kelfin's beautiful eye colors and his chubby cheeks.
And his two sparkling eye colors...
She was like a pomegranate... and sapphire.
"Is he hungry?"
"Most likely... but how can I approach him?"
"Hmm, aha! I'll guide him to the apple tree. Hehe."
Ayral continued to follow Kelfin. Until they reached a place, Kelfin was looking out of the window as usual. Ayral sat quietly from a distance. But...
"Wait... Can't he see the path?"
Ayral hastily walked toward Kelfin. "No!" she wanted to shout, but Kelfin had already stepped into a trap.
"Darn! What now!"
A panicked expression appeared on her face.
"Traps... traps... (muttering to herself)."
"...traps always lead to Mumu."
Even though panicking and afraid of something, she still jumped into the same trap.
"I hope I'm not too late!"
After passing through a dark corridor, she fell into a large and dark room. Ass he looked around, she quickly moved to the edge of the room.
"I'm late!" while watching Kelfin running away from a giant snake (Mumu).
While biting her thumb, she thought of a way to help Kelfin since she didn't want to be scolded. An idea occurred to her.
"Every time he sees my face, his necklace emits something."
"So, I hope that when he sees me... it will help and distract."
(BOUMMMM - Sound of a collision in the battle.)
Ayral stood behind the giant snake with the hope of luring Kelfin. "I hope this helps him."
(ZHUSSSSTTTTT
HUAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!)
"Success!"
"But wait! Will he attack Mumu?"
"Kikk... if he attacks Mumu, I have to..."
(BOUUUMMMM)
Ayral was shocked. Initially, she thought Kelfin would attack Mumu, but that wasn't the case. Kelfin had other targets in mind.
Ayral felt both happy and relieved. Relieved that her only family member was safe and happy that Kelfin had no intention of attacking either. But Kelfin started to sway.
Ayral quickly moved toward him.
The remnants of Kelfin's attack scattered leaves and flowers from a nearby tree into the room. With the wind blowing, their hair was tousled.
The giant snake remained silent in its place, not out
of fear but surprise. This was the first time Ayral ran for someone. And Mumu the Jade could only smile.
When Ayral stood in front of Kelfin, she said, "Sleep."
"Darn! I'm suddenly so sleepy; my eyes feel very... Darn! His eyes too..."
"Beautiful..."
(Ayral's face turned red.)
"You... (smiling sweetly)."
