Ace and Sabo stood in front of luffy.Luffy had called both of them here, saying he had a surprise for them."Luffy, what's so important that you halted our training?" asked ace.Luffy grinned as he took out a small treasure chest.
Ace and Sabo's eyes lit up seeing the treasure chest thinking it had to be gold."Luffy, is that treasure chest filled with gold?"asked sabo
"The things in this chest are far more valuable than gold."said luffy to sabo with a smile.
"What could possibly be more valuable than gold?" asked Ace with a confused look on his face.
I'll show you said luffy as he opened the chest."Are those devil fruits"? shouted sabo
"Yes, they are, and I have decided that I'll give them both to the two of you." said luffy.
"What powers will we get if we eat them?"asked Ace."I am glad you asked. One is called the flame flame fruit. it will grant the user the ability to create and control flames at will, and they will also be able to turn their body into flames at will." said luffy
"The other is called the steam steam fruit. The user of this fruit is able to create and control steam at will.The user can control the temperature of the steam, allowing it to be as hot as flames.The user can also turn into steam and can use it to boost his or her speed." said luffy
Ace and Sabo's eyes were shining, ready to eat these fruits."Wait, which fruit will we each get?" asked sabo."Well, I'm planning to give Ace the flame flame fruit and you the steam steam fruit ." replied luffy to sabo." I'm fine with that. Are you ace? " asked sabo to ace. I'm alright with it. said ace.
Luffy gave them both the fruits.They both took a bite, and their faces turned green as they swallowed the fruits.Luffy laughed after seeing their reactions to eating the fruits.They ignored him and asked if they had powers now."No, you have to eat the whole thing to gain the ability." The paled but stole their resolve and swallowed the fryits whole.They started coughing due to the devil fruits awful taste. Alright, we must have powers now." said ace. Luffy kept laughing .
"What's so funny?" Shouted ace.I lied. You only have to take a bite of the devil fruit, not the whole thing.You mean we ate those nasty fruits whole for no reason at all."Shouted sabo."Yes, I just wanted your reactions." said luffy.They both got angry and shot a ball of steam and fire at luffy.He countered with a wave of water and smiled.Ace and Sabo's anger was immediately replaced with shock as luffy congratulated them on manifesting their devil fruit powers.
