Chapter 26 - Ch. 26 - Autarky Sphere Fairy Castle

A little while ago...

Namira, James and Moji returned to the Autarky Sphere Laboratory located in the underground bunker of the Ziudith Interprise Building to escort Piu-piu back to his residence.

The four started heading towards the Autarky Sphere Center using the Mercedes Benz Fortex Amphibious Drone.

Hours later in the southern region of the Autarky Sphere...

The Fortex Amphibious Passenger Drone landed on a frozen ice sheet, with sea water below.

Not far from where they landed, a Snow Palace stood in the center of the ice island that was majestically displayed before the four of them. It was the residence of Piu-piu in the southern region of the Autarky Sphere.

'The position of the Snow Palace is completely isolated from the life of the living creatures in the Autarky Sphere, as it is located right in the middle of the icy landmass of the frozen sea, and is surrounded by extremely cold sea water. Except for a few kilometers away from the Piu-piu Snow Palace that we passed just now, there is one living creature that lives on the land, namely, Penguins.' Namira documents her experience every time she visits Piu-piu Snow Palace.

'But the kind of penguins that inhabit this labyrinth in another dimension have very different characteristics from the penguins that live in the south pole on earth. One example is their huge body posture with a beak that can fit a seal in its mouth, plus their skin is so thick that they are immune to extreme minus temperatures.'

'Huh, indirectly, these penguins are the security guards and butchers for anyone who dares to enter Piu-piu's Snow Palace territory by land and sea.' Namira was grateful that during her first exploration, she was riding a passenger drone and not a sea or land vehicle.

The location of the Snow Palace in the Autarky Sphere was similar to the geography on Earth, where the North and South Polar Regions were dominated by ice. The difference lies in the condition of the two Polar regions on earth, which are now slowly disappearing due to global warming. While here, in the Autarky Sphere, both polar regions are still fairly Natural like the two poles on earth millions of years ago.

"Piu-piu, thank you for helping us fight that giant monster and sorry for troubling you." Namira said as she got off the passenger drone and walked towards the gate of the Snow Palace.

"No problem, it's just a trivial thing so there's no need to be so shy." Piu-piu took the matter lightly. At the same time, the third eye on her forehead began to close completely from the original slow closing, and her forehead left a bluish vertical line.

Piu-piu then flew using her 6 small wings away from the three humans who had asked for her help. she opened the huge Snow Palace gate using her energy without touching at all, this was like telekinesis. The little fairy then turned around and faced them, then said.

"Alright, it's enough to take me here, you can leave now." Piu-piu said with a flat face, followed by the creaking sound of the gate starting to close.

The three of them could only remain silent until the gate of the Snow Palace closed tightly. Not a word came out of Namira, James or Moji's mouths. They could only grumble in their hearts, and could only resign themselves to understanding the behavior of this very arrogant and disrespectful little Elf.

The three of them sighed deeply and hurried to get back on the Drone, as the cold temperature was already piercing their bodies into numbness.

While inside the drone, James, who was sitting in the rear center seat, started blowing on both palms with his breath through his mouth to warm up. After a while, he remembered something and then said to Namira.

"Young lady, what if Piu-piu's power leaves a bad impact on the surface again like a few years ago?"

Namira who heard James' words then replied by not showing her agitated face.

"I also think so, I hope that everyone on the surface will immediately go to a safe place far away from the surface, to warm themselves from the cold temperature due to the condensation of the energy released by Piu-piu."

James sighed and closed his eyes while leaning back, then said.

"However, I still can't understand why Piu-piu who was born in the Autarky Sphere with such a small body can have such great strength? He can even defeat a Titan Ape with a body size many times that of him easily."

"That is one of the advantages of the Autarky Sphere, it is not inferior to the power of Mana that pollutes the earth. and we must continue to guard and protect the Autarky Sphere from evil intentions, so that the circulation of power on earth can still be maintained in balance."

Hearing this, James was pensive for a moment and said.

"That's right, young lady. The energy in the Autarky Sphere is very strong, dense and abundant. and is able to be a counterweight to the Mana energy scattered on earth that can manipulate matter and elements. although not all can use mana and not all can match the material or element, but it does not rule out the possibility that Mana users can still pose a serious disaster threat."

After saying this, it reminded James of his words to the young and strong man, where he said that, "Even the germs that cultivate in the Autarky Sphere, can defeat Dragons." in the end, he sighed deeply and felt inferior.

Namira seemed to nod in agreement, then she turned her head and said to Moji on her right side.

"Moji, pick up the pace, we need to rush back to the laboratory to monitor the situation on the surface."

"Yes, Miss."

Moji immediately flew the passenger drone at high speed towards the Autarky Sphere's central region, the underground Bunker Laboratory - Ziudith Interprise Building.

...

A few hours later...

Upon arrival at the laboratory, Namira and James immediately entered the information control center room on the other side of the laboratory. They were shown the unexpected.

The entire central Tienji city area had been buried by a snowdrift and nearly submerged several one-story buildings, just like the gas sludge tragedy decades ago.

"This is.. worse than the previous incident! What about the condition of the people living there? Have they all been evacuated?" Namira asked the employee who was monitoring and processing the information. She shuddered at the thought of how cold it was at the scene.

"According to the information we got, some of them have been evacuated to nearby bunkers, but some refused to be evacuated and insisted on staying in their homes." One of the Crew showed video footage of local security officers and volunteers from the Adventurer's Guild trying to help evacuate the civilians.

"Stubborn people.. Even a bunker several meters deep underground is still not enough to withstand the propagation of air crystallization due to the extremely low minus temperature...

Let alone a house of ordinary construction, electric heaters are not enough. You still have to light a fire and keep the flame going, even burning the whole house to keep warm and prevent the freeze from spreading."

Namira grumbled in annoyance at the stupidity of the people around Tienji city, especially when she heard one of them say "We natives never fear natural disasters, let nature choose who deserves to live and die".

"No! It's not a matter of natural disasters selecting life, it's an artificial disaster caused by living beings! You'll die for nothing!" Namira snorted with reddened eyes. She deeply regretted her decision in her heart, having asked Piu-piu to exert his power and cause a similar disaster to occur after relying on the little Fairy Autarky Sphere.

'Letting a giant monster run rampant and slaughter the entire human race, or enlisting Piu-piu's help to defeat it, the consequences are still not much different...'

Namira felt dizzy with this whole incident, she could no longer think of how to deal with the propagation of crystallization and snowstorms that would continue to spread widely, as long as there was Mana mixed in the air and blown by the wind.

3 years ago, something similar had happened. Piu-piu once exerted his power when overcoming the crack of the rift abroad, precisely in the Arctic hemisphere. And the impact that occurred after Piu-piu used his power, made the entire continent covered in snowstorms for 7 days and 7 nights. Even though at that time Piu-piu did not have time to exert his power as much as it is now, the impact still cannot be tolerated by indigenous people who are used to living in polar climates.

Some of them still got sick, some died from the cold and some died from starvation as they ran out of food, and it was impossible for them to go out into the storm to find food.

If they can't make it, what about people in tropical climates who have never experienced extreme cold? They certainly won't survive!

Plus, in the past, the strength was not much, but it caused a catastrophic cold for 7 days and 7 nights. Now, the strength that Piu-piu mobilizes is several times greater, how long will it last? a month? half a year? a year? it's hard to predict!

Namira can only think of ways to prepare food supplies for the victims of the cold disaster and some spare batteries and electric heating units, just like she did in the Arctic.

She knew in her mind, if she did something like that again, there would definitely be consequences. Because many of the previous volunteers had also collapsed, because they could not withstand the cold temperatures. Most of them died under the snow while delivering food and goods to the homes of people who did not want to stay in the bunker.

'Do I have to sacrifice good people for such selfish people again?' Namira complained sadly in her heart.

'Isn't there any other way to solve this?' she was still hesitant to go on a suicide mission for the sake of those fools.

As Namira struggled violently with her thoughts, James, who was currently behind her, suddenly said.

"Young lady, what if we ask Mr. Nine for help instead?" James saw that Namira looked troubled and confused, which was why he gave the closest logical suggestion to solve the current problem.

"Nine? can he solve this cold disaster? can he do it?" the worry on Namira's face slowly improved, and was replaced with a serious look on her face.

"Maybe? Isn't he also very strong? Nothing is impossible in the presence of absolute power." James said doubtfully yet convincingly, making Namira feel even more uncertain.

"Alright, that seems to be the only other way. But, how do we get in touch with her?"

"What if we come to visit her where she lives?"

"Do you know his whereabouts?"

"I've got it. She lives in Apartment Boulevard and at the moment, she's probably in the evacuation bunker for apartment residents." James said as he handed Namira a file containing Nine's information.

"Good! Let's go there to see her." Namira turned around and wanted to leave the information control room.

"Yes, young lady." James followed behind Namira. When the two had left the room, Moji, who had been waiting in front of the control door, also walked behind Namira.

The three of them headed to the Helipad located on top of the Ziudith Interprise Building.
