Mrs.Peterson led the two gentlemen along the long hallway into her office. Ever since the two men arrived her heart had been racing wildly while her hands shivered. For the second young man that she wasn't that scared, but the one which walked directly behind her put her heart in full gear. She could feel his stone cold gaze on the back of her head. " Welcome Mr.Smith." She said to the man with the cold gaze and nodded slightly at the other man whose facial features was a bit more relaxed. She opened the door to her office and they all walked in. She offered them seats and took hers from across the large office table. "Good afternoon gentlemen. It's such a pleasure to have you here in this our noble institution. I be....." She was quickly cut short. "Cut the chase Mrs.Peterson. You know I am a man with very limited time. Go straight to the point." Mr.Smith stated. His voice authoritative and void of emotions. "R-r-right." Mrs.Peterson stumbled. She scratched her head as she tried to find a way to break whatever news she had to the ruthless man sitting before her. "Umm sir about your proposal I'm afraid we cannot reject scholarship students since this is also quite a big opportunity for them to bring their families out of poverty and become better people in society. Many of our scholarship students are from very poor backgrounds and struggle to even get a meal. So rejecting scholarships may ruin their lives." She stated, her heart slamming in her chest. God should save her if this man fired her. Mr.Smith just sat there and stared at her for a while before his lips curled up into a wicked smirk. 'Oh no.'Mrs. Peterson thought in her mind. "I asked you to get me a list of all the terminated scholarship students' names last two weeks. And now instead of me receiving a list I'm here receiving a speech from you about how the poor kids are gonna die when we terminate their scholarships." He paused. "Now, Mrs.Peterson if I were running my business like it's a charity event then I wouldn't be where I am today. Sometimes in this cruel world of business you need to make certain sacrifices in order to attain very good outcomes. Now without much to say, where is the list." He asked sharply. "But sir where will these kids go to. They have no benefactors, please sir I beg you have mercy on the innocent kids. Keeping scholarship students doesn't pull the school's reputation down. "Are you questioning my intelligence,Mrs. Peterson?" He asked. "No! Not at all sir, I'm just trying to be considerate that's all." She begged. "Mrs.Peterson. The list." He asked again.
