I woke up to the sound of a song and magnificent sunshine that lit my medium room as I rubbed my eyes which were sore and heavy, I had overslept.
I didn't wish to wake up, I just wanted to continue with my siesta but the door opened and Sarah walked in.
"Mom left early this morning." She informed me as she sat next to my lazy body, she was in a pink T-shirt and black pants that exposed her curvaceous angle.
"Is she going to sell the house?" I asked. I had doubts that Aunt Ruth might be selling this house today but Sarah shook her head and consoled my fear.
"I don't think so, and by the way, did you tell her about my relationship with Max?" She added the last part in a different tone that made me wonder if I had done the wrong thing.
"Yes, I did," I confessed as I went ahead to add that I didn't mean to in the first place.
"Thanks," She hugged me tightly, "I couldn't find the right words to say, I didn't even know how to start such a talk with Mom."
I looked into her eyes and knew she was speaking the truth. "I just hope that she doesn't get to sell this house." I almost whispered as Sarah tightened her hug.

I was out of bed after some thirty-forty minutes of hugging and polite kissing with Sarah which left us both horny. Don't ask why we didn't extinguish the fire that had just started building in us because a sudden smell drifted into the bedroom and Sarah suddenly yelled, "Oh my god! The potatoes!"
I hurried downstairs, after her, and there she was, with her hands on her head. "What's up?" I rushed in choking on the air.
The kitchen was fogged in a dark haze that eluded a burnt smell, that of roast. I instantly knew her potatoes had over-cooked.
"oh my!" I saw the pile of coals inside the black cooking pan that Sarah had thrown out of the oven just before gunfire of roasted potatoes befell the house."Don't tell me these are potatoes." I said toasting the black irregular spherical shaped potatoes in the air, crashing one only to realise that nothing was left to eat as the whole stuff had turned black in and out.
"What are you laughing at," Sarah questioned me as I couldn't hold back the humour in this. "Nothing" I replied as I pointed at her potatoes, now pieces of charcoal.
"It's not funny," Sarah warned me as I opened the back door to let more smoke drift out. We were choking yet Sarah still stood in the middle, staring at her perfect potato coals.
"Come on, let's clean the mess." I chuckled as I saw how black the pan had turned, "Sarah?"
The whole mess had terrified Sarah out of wits, she just looked at the pan as I threw the charcoal, which had been potatoes just hours ago, into the trash. "You need to scrub that pan or else your mom will know that her potatoes turned into charcoal."
I got Sarah into the move as a knock resonated. "Were you expecting someone?" I asked Sarah who shook her head," No, not at this hour, Lisa was coming over today but during the afternoon."
"Imma check who it is." I volunteered as Sarah quickly threw the black pan into the sink with loads of detergent on the scrub.
It was way too early in the morning, around ten o'clock, that was too early for a visitor.
"Who's there?" I asked as I peeped outside. It was Max, I had long recognized him.
"It's me, Max." The person verified himself as I opened the door just for my head to poke out and give him a look.
"What do you want?" I asked with no intention to invite him in.
"Is she in?"
"Which she are you referring to?"
"you know who..., I'm referring to the person I love."
"Which person?" I gave him a serious look as I prayed for him to just leave, Sarah was no longer his!
"Ruth, your aunt." The dude kept up with my questions as I shook my head with a no.
"no, she left... you can check her at the club later."
"Where did she leave to?" Max continued questioning as I grew annoyed. You see, I wanted to piss him off but instead, I was getting pissed off.
"How am I supposed to know!" My reply made him mutter," Oh ok, I get it, can I come in?"
'What for? My aunt is away!'
"May I come in?" Max insisted with a relaxed face as I opened the door wider. "Ok, What do you want?" I asked as he slipped his huge body past me, rubbing his back on my side as he stepped in.
"I need to get Sarah away from here." Max continued as I quickly ran to block his path.
"Why? You not taking her anywhere!"
We stood in the corridor, at the left opposite the living room with my back facing the stairs. I was not going to let him pass, Sarah was terrified, I too couldn't understand his intentions.
"I'm sorry for everything I've done to you, Sarah." Max who saw Sarah standing attention behind my back began, "There is a lot you don't understand, I work for a company ... The Oldark Company."
" GET OUT!"
The sudden blast from Sarah terrified me too as Max took an unintentional step back. Sarah was approaching, her tone expressed her anger as she walked up, eyes tomato red as she pushed Max forcibly out all the while crying out loud. "GET OUT!"
I could hear Max trying to explain everything to Sarah, but the latter was not giving an ear. "OUT IS OUT!" Sarah continued the yell as the neighbour responded to Sarah's outbreak.
"Please don't create a scene, Sarah." Max pleaded as he stepped out, Sarah forcing him to the main road.
I watched behind, following closely as Max got in his SUV that he had just parked some distance away across our street and drove off.
"What's wrong with him?" I asked Sarah who ignored me. Love was complicated, full of mixed reactions and uncertainties. I gave a black eye to our neighbours who stood, taking video clips. "Fock You!" I cursed behind my back as I closed the door behind us.
The day had begun to be terrible.
I watched Sarah fill a drink of Krome, wishing to escape reality as I placed my hand on her, I had to console her.
We spent some minutes on the stairs before I led her to the couch where she hugged my shoulders and dried her sobs. It was finally over, the bad had passed. I knew my aunt will receive word from the neighbours and break up officially with Max, the devil was defeated.

Sarah's phone began ringing, an hour after her emotional breakdown. She picked up the Anonymous caller and a soft, inquiring voice broke through.
"Hello, are you Sarah Perkerson?"
"Yes, Who is it?" Sarah asked as she gave me a look of puzzlement.
"What!..." I heard Sarah shout into the phone terrified, I grew curious and leaned closer to her ear but Sarah dropped her Blackberry dead on the floor, fainting in my hands.
